Truck Bed Extender for Ford Ranger, Maverick, Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon, Nissan Frontier Pickup Trucks, 24" Bed Extension

I’ve never left a review on anything before which shows how impressed i was. Showed up quick, in great condition, no scratches or anything. Super easy install on my 2019 Toyota Tacoma SR. You don't have to take out the tail lights like you would with other bed extenders. At most took me 35ish minutes. Build quality isn’t absolute the best thing you’ve ever seen. But compared to the $300+ ones it does a pretty good job! Brings my 5’1” bed to 6’6” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

EDIT - Time flies by - 5 months have passed since I left my initial review. This is still one of the better additions I have done to my Cruz! I take it out as needed and re-install it within seconds! Here is an excerpt someone else left on a Santa Cruz forum I am a member of. To me - this pretty much sums it up!"I purchased a vehicle with a secured 4. 5” bed that is perfect for me 95% of the time! “Me“ is the important word of the previous sentence. What is perfect for ME - may not be perfect for you! I purchased this instead of having a truck with a 6.5' bed that I need 5% of the time. Seems buying something based on a 5% requirement seems silly. Having a vehicle that is fine 95% of the time and adding a <$200 after-market accessory makes up that other 5%? Yes, please. It seems the bed fence/extender is a great tool to increase the utility for the few times a year I will need it. Not only does it extend the bed, when folded in the bed, it also helps to split the bed and control loads."MY ORIGINAL REVIEW (01/2023) I had no issues whatsoever in installing this fantastic add-on on my 2023 Santa Cruz SEL! I had read up on the install and knew i would have to remove the thick clear plastic covering the bracket mount screw threads - and buy the proper MM screws for the brackets to mount on the sides of the Santa Cruz. I used an old soldering iron and simply melted the plastic removed the melted plastic exposing the threads. This allowed me to mount the 2 side brackets. I want to give a big shout-out to the seller - who came to my aid in replacing my lost bracket retaining pins! These are 4mm bracket retaining pins and are VERY VERY hard to find anywhere! Not only is this small diameter (4mm) hard to locate - then there is the proper length needed. Take care to remember where you put these when you need to remove the bed extender! EDIT - My Sant Cruz has the factory tonneau cover. This extender will work with the factory tonneau cover without any modifications what so ever! NOTHING HAS TO BE TRIMMED

Go buy self tapping screws before installing. Seriously the screws they send with this thing to secure it to your bed are absolute junk.Fix that I’ll give it five stars.It was super easy to install. It can change width to fit different trucks and seems pretty secure and looks great. It would be extremely easy to pop off if you need to remove the gate. So far this item functions great for my purposes. It has a listed max load of 200lbs but I doubt I’ll ever use it for that much. Mostly hauling groceries and diapers these days… Great buy I think!

This works great in the 24 Maverick. Especially since the bed is pre drilled for an extender and these receivers fit perfectly with no drilling. The retainer strap strikers fit the bed latches perfectly as well. The only change I made was shortening the spreader bars by 1 inch, otherwise it would be just barely too wide to fit the maverick. I think if I’d have really jammed them it would have worked but cutting an inch off worked great. I bought machine screws, washers and lock nuts to make use of the factory holes, and removed the twilights while installing.

Super easy to install, high strength, suits my needs perfectly and looks great in the process!

Was easy to install, especially on my 2016 Ram, which has the 3 screw locations already pre-dimpled, ready to drill from the factory. I read the reviews warning about the poor screws, so I was very careful to work them back and forth several times rather than ramming them in there to cut the threads. Worked great, zero issues, no rounded or broken screws.

It's been a year. Thought everything was k00l till I misplaced my pins. I just got a response saying no spare parts.Horrible customer service!The straps are stretched out and although it's light, it's not strong metal cause I layer a piece of wood on it and it bent.It's pretty useless without pins because it won't stay down without it.I wouldn't buy it again or suggest it to anyone if there's no spare parts, especially when I buy something for long term.Lesson learned!
