Better than I thought
For the price I thought this was going to be sub-parr but it keeps our above ground pool clean even after my ferral kids have been playing in it all day

Suction not as expected
Got rather frustrated with the set up on this item. It works more on gravitation than a pump hence it’s a bit like siphoning the pool into the impeller rather than it sucking the water up. So don’t just plug in in and expect it to start filtering. You have to release the air valve and then prime both tubes at this point close the air valve and plug in it ideally needs two people prime pipes drop into pool as assistant turns on. Let frustrated now that it is appearing to be doing something.

PTFE tape required
Nice budget product, instructions are pants if you haven't used a pool pump before. The filter pump is labelled up with A and B on either pipe inlet and the instructions do not say which is inlet and which is the outlet. (My bestway pool isn't labelled up with A or B either) For reference A side goes to highest point and B to lowest.I found that when connecting up the in and outlet pipes to my bestway pool they were leaking slightly despite clips being as tight as possible. Ensure the clips are fitted as close as possible to the pool side. I used PTFE tape and put around the two white pipes that the filter pipes connect to and no more leaking. Can't comment on the longevity of pump but its quiet when running.There is a little cog on the top of the filter which is useful if you're finding the pumps not working. Open the cog until water starts to come out and ensure its closed tightly afterwards.The power cable could do with being longer in my opinion.

Working exactly as thought
Product arrived quickly, installed and working exactly as thought. Might not fix our green pool but inexpensive way to try

Cheap Avoid!!!!!!!
Bought item end May 2024, put pool up in July when it warmed up - used pump twice and stopped working. Contacted via Amazon - refused to return as outside return window. What a waste of money! Avoid purchasing this item!!!!
