Blade Guard™ Locking Kitchen Knife Blade Protector (Grey, 8in)

This blade guard fits my 10-inch chef's knife well and does exactly what it's supposed to do. It keeps the edge protected and makes it much safer to store the knife in a drawer or transport it in a knife roll. The guard feels sturdy and stays securely closed. I also like that it's lightweight and easy to clean. It's a simple product, but it's well made and gives me peace of mind when carrying or storing my knives. I would definitely purchase another one for my other knives.

Though I was worried whether this would actually fit my knife, that worry was ultimately unnecessary. It fits perfectly. Not only does it protect the knife, as well as your hand if you keep the knife in a drawer, I like the fact that the little rubber pads on the inside keep the knife from sliding around inside the case. A very good knife (and hand) protector. Well worth the cost.

As a 50-year "home cook" who cooks for our large family in other states several times a year, I ordered a SECOND Agilux Blade Guard for my larger chef's knife. It is an excellent, high-quality product. It has one job: Protect your knives. It does that extremely well, is not over-designed, as some are. Built to last a lifetime, I use it to encase knives in my utility drawer when I'm not traveling. Closes tightly, keeps knives securely in place with no rattling, and is easy to open, but not so easy that curious little fingers could open it. (I keep my knives out of the reach of children, but another layer of protection isn't a bad thing!) Highly recommend.

If you have any sort of slightly wide blade like a kitchen knife or chef utility knife, size up. This is the picture of the 6” and the 8” guard with a 6” blade. Works perfect, just make sure it fits. Only drawback is it holds slightly loose due to the bigger size.

Perfect cover for new 8in Zwilling knife. Keeps hands safe. Just what I needed.

*edited review* I finally managed to fully peel the sticker off! Fortunately there isn't much residue left from it, and it looks very clean. After a few days of using this, i will say it takes a little time to get used to knowing how to open it. But other than that, the product itself seems VERY secure and safe. I feel much better knowing that the old flimsy sheath i used to have might not accidentally come off in my bag and slice my hand open whenever i try to grab something out of my work bag. My knife doesn't budge in this thing - it holds tight, my knife handle that's sticking out doesn't even move - not even in the slightest. I highly recommend this product and I'm happy that the outcome was better than i first thought it might be! The only thing i would say is i wish it came in solid black, instead of just clear or grey. But color obviously isn't a big deal -not in the slightest, when compared to functionality and safety. It is a little bulky, but it's worth it just to know my knife is safe and secure, and that i won't accidentally injure myself on the blade when it's not in use.

Needed to bring a very nice chef’s knife to our sons for in California. Research told me I needed to be sure blade was protected in case in checked luggage. I was able to find the right size case on Amazon!

This is exactly what I’ve been searching for. I bought this same knife guard more than 10 years ago from William Ashley but they discounted and I haven’t been able to buy a second one. This knife guard is so sturdy. Perfect for keeping the knife in place for travelling. And the locking closure prevents kids from opening the knife guard. Love it.

La funda se ve bien y si fija la hoja por dentro pues evita que se mueva el cuchillo dentro de la funda por lo que el filo no toca la superficie de la cubierta protectora, desgraciadamente para el cuchillo que la ocupaba no le quedó porque es más ancho; pero me sirvió para un cuchillo de cerámica (pequeño de menos de 1 pulgada de grueso, solo tengo que cerrar despacio la funda para no quebrar o dañar el cuchillo de cerámica) que no tenía funda y lo protege bien. Asi que contento con la compra!!

Solide et de qualité. Ferme bien et protège bien. Probablement un des meilleurs sur la marché.

la calidad se nota de inmediato, se nota que sera duradera y mi familia estara segura en la cocina con mi cuchillo bien aislado del resto. PD en mi hogar cada quin tiene su cuchillo de cocina.
