This conversion frame works well. It is sturdy, fits the bedframe perfectly without too much difficulty, and actually has 2 slats to hold the box springs. The headboard and footboard stand straight. The "L" brackets are long enough to accommodate the box springs. I have now purchased 2 more of these to retrofit additional full size beds. The only downside is that the mattress is higher than the bedframe mentioned below by the same manufacturer. But the quality and stability outweigh the difference. The packaging is very poor with this product. The ends are damaged in shipping resulting in bent hooks and end brackets. They can be straightened out with enough strength and the right tools - definitely needs some brawn!!!! They should put some stabilizing materials in the ends of boxes. We had purchased a different product from the same manufacturer found @ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MA5KUBF?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title. This other one was a disaster - wobbly, head and footboard were at angles, was challenging to get hooks into frame and the "L" brackets were too short to accommodate the box spring.

I assembled this bed frame without too much trouble but once it was installed the headboard and footboard wobbled back and forth two or three inches. This is not a product I’d recommend to anyone.

This is the second queen converter I have purchased so I had expectations. (My first purchase was from a different company and had slightly different features.) This product is sturdy and will do the job, but the fit and finish was lacking. The hooks at the ends were bent a bit and would not enter the slots until I straightened them with pliers. The screws were a bit short to easily join the crossbeam halves and the center leg. Worked, but barely. Come on, how much would it cost to provide screws 1/4" longer? The seller contacted me promptly just to confirm that I ordered the correct product for my needs. I liked that.

Worked great. Very sturdy and easy to assemble. Such a great economical way to convert a vintage full headboard and footboard to accommodate a queen box spring and mattress. I am completely satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it. 😊👍🏼

Do not buy these. The first set I bought came built incorrectly, on one railing The hooks were going up and the other end of the same railing The hooks were going down. They are riveted and welded together. So I would’ve had to take it somewhere for them to cut it loose and probably spent more than the railings themselves. Then I spent a week arguing with Amazon about why I needed a replacement and the company refused to replace the item. Terrible company to do business with and the product is crap. They don’t even have all the parts that the picture shows.. at least they didn’t send it to me. There are no little tiny hooks on the side to keep the mattress in place.

Easy assembly and works great!

We have a full size bed converted to queen. This bed frame is very good quality and very sturdy. The picture of the frame shows only one cross support beam but actually has Two support beams. Both support beams have a leg support in middle of bed.

This product was exactly what we needed, but it arrived with bent brackets. We were on a tight schedule and didn't want to fight with returning it or getting replacement brackets, so just bent them back into shape. Only to find during installation that one wasn't bent quite far enough and cracked the wood of the footboard in one spot. Glued the footboard back together (this wasn't it's first repair), and it should now do the job when we reattempt installing the footboard later today when the glue is fully set. Hopefully all this bending did not weaken the brackets, but only time will tell. This product would have been perfect had it arrived undamaged.
