Perfect for prolonged outdoor activities.
I bought it for Pokémon GoFest 2024 in NYC. It is light and easy to use, although you have to dismount the canopy to open and close the shade, it was comfortable to wear. The event was hit with downpour of rain and lightning for 40 minutes. The canopy kept me dry except edge of my T-shirt short sleeves. It is tested against battering rains and when weather cleared, the heat and unforgiving sunlight were kept in bay. I felt lot cooler and surprised how hot the canopy was when I touched the top, which protected me from the sun. The event in Randall Island was limited in shaded areas, and those available were filled with people. I was able to move without getting any heat exhaustion. Many of participants asked me about this product, and that is the reason I am writing this review. Great product for prolonged outdoor event, and just mind the distance between yourself and the others around you.

School PickUp in Phoenix
The first quarter of school is always SO hot & the sun is harsh in Phoenix! By the grace of God, I ran into these while browsing over the summer. It looks a bit funky, so I asked some of my teachers if they’d wear it. I had about 5 say yes, so I went ahead & purchased some. They worked so well for those initial teachers, that I was asked by others if I’d get some for them too. Now only 1 of my outdoor teachers has chosen not to have one. The rest of us wouldn’t dare step outside without one! We put ice vests on, then these “body umbrellas” over the vests. We’re able to use both our hands while staying as cool as possible. Thank you!!!

Works well
This is good contraption. It does keep the sun off. A bit bulky but works well for my husband as he is working outside in the sun. It helps him to be able to see his tablet better in the sunlight.

Kept me Dry Hands Free on a Long Walk
I bought this to keep me dry in the rain on my walk home from work. I am blind, so I always need to have one hand free to hold my white cane. Having to use the other hand to hold an umbrella means I have no hands to open doors, etc. I walked home in the heavy rain the other day, and it kept me and my backpack dry. I wasn't sure if wearing my work backpack on top of this contraption would be comfortable, but it was totally fine. First I put on my coat, then the umbrella, then my backpack. Closing it up wwhen you're done with it is just a little tricky. You have to simultaneously push an indented button on the side while pulling up on the lever, and you have to do this on both sides of the device. But once you get the hang of it, it's no problem. This will definitely be my go-to on days where the forecast calls for heavy rain and I know a raincoat's just not going to cut it.

Order returned
Bought for grandson and he felt it cumbersome, a bit heavy. Have not received credit for return.

Best unique purchase EVER! Lol!
I will have to admit I was skeptical about this Numbrella to say the least. But, it I have to say that it has been fantastic. I have a $230.00 double sun canopy on my 14 ft. peddle kayak. I like to use this instead all the time now. I also use it while mowing on my zero turn mower, weed eating the yard and a lot more. The thing is stitched very well and very solid. I bought it a few months ago for $69.00 and it has already went up some, but I will get another one soon!

Just what I ordered
This product very much fit the description of something you can wear and keep your hands free and have shade or block the rain. Purchased for when I am flying a drone that is off in the distance to keep the sun/glare off the controller. Friends thought it was great and said "Oh we should get those for when we are filming long days because we don't want to attach an umbrella to the tripod." The one suggestion that I would make for future versions, would be to be able to pull it back more or easier to reveal more of the sky, as I said to keep an eye on a drone. The sunshade doesn't quite pull back as far as I'd like, and the straps that hold it back don't get the front part out of the way enough at times, so I have to lean. But overall it is great.

Unsatisfied
I had a problem with the umbrella, it wouldn't close all the way. I wanted to contact the seller and their phone number does not work, they have not responded to dozens of emails, they have not responded to dozens of Facebook Messenger messages, nor any of the many posts I've left on their Facebook page. They included a tiny piece of paper with the product, which says to watch a video on their website about the product, but I cannot find the website and they do not give a link for that website on that piece of paper. They should also have supplied instructions with the product.
