TRIM-LOKEdge Trim, Alum Clip, 0.3 in W, 100 Ft

I bought this edge trim to put around the perimeter of my new Honda lawnmower's deck. After years of rusty and broken hand-me-downs, I saved up for a high quality lawn mower that should give me decades of use. However the steel deck of the mower had no protection for the edge of the deck to prevent the paint from be scraped off by running it up against rocks, so I ordered this roll of edge trim. Installation was very easy and it holds reasonably well, though I might glue it in place in the future since it does slide off sometimes. It has held up well all summer and prevented my mower deck from getting scratched.

Learned of this product in the automotive sector while working in the big three factories. Went to buy it at my local electrical supplier and they had never heard of it. First time I saw it on Amazon it was shipping from England. I needed only 8" but its smallest quantity came in 25' rolls. I will find uses for this in the future. It is a rubber edging with an aluminum core that you can crimp on to any metal edge in the size you order/need that would be impractical to file or were still sharp that you might like an edge on to protect your wiring or skin. At work it was use on cable tray,to protect the control wiring for the robots and other machinery, could be used in a communications room. My use was for the box housing my charge station for my car, to protect the charge cable from rubbing on the cut out edge at the bottom of the box.

Ordered the trim for my 1/2" plywood marine hatch doors, make sure you order the right thickness, fits great and snug, easy to install, watch the YouTube video first to learn how to do the corners. great stuff!

The product looks and feels good. But not impressed at all. Says it was for 1/4" glass and I have 1/4 and it doesn't fit. The edges want to flare and it really doesn't fit at all.

I build side doors for my Yamaha Rhino. They were meranti board over a steel frame. This was used to finish the edges of the meranti board. Did an excellent job.
