Q: How many backdrops can this hold?

Only 1 at a time. If u don't have pockets on one and have to use the loops included it looks cheesy. If you use three poles it starts to pit in the middle.

Q: The main picture shows the interlocking poles but other pictures show those metal push pins you have to press in to unlock. Which ones does this come

Mine has the metal push pins. I notice if you extend it beyond 2 poles it sags so I always have to reinforce it when using the full 10 ft.

Q: How long is the carrying bag? I'll be taking it on a plane

Dont have exact measurements but it's small enough to be a carry on.
