Pascal Piazzola is well known for his fine craftsmanship of pipes. These pipes come from the now retired pipe maker's collection originally crafted in the 1960's and 1970's. Monsieur Piazolla helped establish Jean Lacroix's well known briar pipe line, eventually leaving to build his own brand and further establish his own artistic style. Pipes may vary slightly from picture in finish and dimensions. Approximate measurements: Pipe Length: 5.58 inches. Bowl Height: 1.86 inches. Outer bowl diameter: 1.51 inches. Inner bowl diameter: 0.71 inches. Bowl chamber depth: 1.37 inches

Great Pipe for the money.
Pascal Pialozza has retired, but he is a master pipe-maker, and his pipes are signed. Real value here, and it doesn't need a filter..

Four Stars
Cool pipe. Didn't say anything about needing a filter yet it looks like it takes one.

The bowl on the pipe is nice, I was afraid I would break it getting stem out first time.
I love it so far, had not smoked a pipe in awhile and bought a can of Prince Albert tobacco elsewhere to break it in. Tastes good, it does appear to be compatible with filters from the bore on the stem, but have no idea what size they would be. The only reason I knocked one star off was it was so hard to get the stem out the first time. After using it a few weeks I was afraid I'd break it, but it finally came loose. I've been just using it with brass screens and no filters, but might try filter's now that I finally got the stem to break loose.

Poor value
Thought that this was a great bargain for the price but, alas, the thought didn't last. The weak link turned out to be the bit which is made of very inferior soft plastic that developed a crack in short order. Discarded the pipe after only three months.
