It was too small. I suggest getting the next size. I'm a medium in my other fajas so I purchased a medium. Wish I would've gotten a large. Overall it's very good quality. Thick and stretchy in certain areas. The buttocks is a different material. It's very comfortable and it doesn't smash your butt like other fajas. I love the fact that it also adds compression to my stomach. I can wear my waist trainer on top of it. I'll wear the medium until my large comes. The large should be much easier to pull up and down. It doesn't have the opening in the crotch like other fajas so you have to pull it up and down to use the restroom. All the more reason for you to get the next size. Other than that the item is great. I'll definitely get more than one to be able to rotate them. The pricing is awesome. 😊

I love these shorts.. They are a lil tight in the crotch but I jus have to break them in a lil. They do make ur butt pop out and look bomb in dark jeans. Light color leggings u can see the bottom thigh part. I now want to see if they have some that come all the way up past the belly button under breast. But these are perfect for what I needed.

I measured 30" waist, 41.5" hips, 22" legs. The size chart suggested between M or L, and to go with the larger size when in-between. L was too small. Had to order an x-L.Update: I ordered the XL and it fits much better, just the right compression not too tight or too loose. The only issue I have now that this fits great is the bottom of the leg the lace likes to roll up and just feels strange and it shows through spandex and jeans. I ended up cutting the lace off because it was too uncomfortable and will only wear these at home to help with post surgical compression.

Nearly the entire reason I chose this garment was that I wanted one without an open crotch. I already have a garment that lifts quite well, but the open crotch strangles my girl bits. This is not only NOT easy to pull up & down, as advertised, but it runs small and doesn't even lift much or compress, despite how tight it is. I'm not sure how that's even possible, but here we are. Thanks to the unadvertised open crotch, combined with how tight this is, my bits are again being strangled, but without the benefit of a noticeable lift. Also, it almost feels like wool. It's hot and somewhat itchy. The seams are very visible and can be seen through pants, making it appear that you have butt pads, even though the garment isn't padded.The fact that the pictures seem to clearly show a closed crotch area AND the details tout easy pull up & down for bathroom comfort, I was either sent the wrong item, or the seller is guilty of false advertisement. I probably would have been better off ordering the $11 garment I had in my cart before this one.

I was misled to believe there was padding from an answer on here but NO there is no added cushion/padding. The short part is a thick tight material to suck you in and it helps hide any fat above the pubic area. It comes up a little above the belly button/natural waist on me and the elastic band is not constricting and doesn't create a muffin top. I am a size 12 jean right now, 186 lbs 5'5" (the kind that could wear a 14 super comfortably but not a size 10 yet). I usually wear a size L in most clothing as well. I ordered a 3x in these since I just returned a 2X in another Salome style 318-1 and it turns out these fit but are not snug so I'm going to buy a size 2X again in this style and see which size lifts better, sucks me in and smooths my thighs out. As far as the butt area that sticks out, the material is like a pair of stretchy thin tights with good support. It absolutely does give lift. I have a large butt that is somewhat round and definitely wide and this pulls it up and makes it more rounded. If the 2x doesn't fit better I will be keeping these for jeans and dresses just because it does lift. I also want to mention that the length of the leg part is like the picture and the bottom lace is not tight so it shouldn't create a crease when you wear jeans. I mean it all depends on the size of your legs but I have very thick legs and it doesn't do this to me. Additionally, the lace has grip underneath so it will not move. Love this because I wouldn't want it riding up under clothing. Oh and in case you are wondering if these come with the opening to use the bathroom, they don't which I like because most times the hole is uncomfortable. Hope this helps!

These shorts have a perfect lift. I have junk in the trunk but it doesn't defy gravity so this product is great. I'm not sure what it would do for someone with a super flat behind. I'm 5'6 and weigh 134 I ordered a small, it's a squeeze to get into but fits great. These go right over my actual muffin top so no lines there which I love. If your thighs are on the bigger side or super soft the tightness might make a muffiny line... I have to make sure mine are pulled as low as they can to avoid that. the only thing I wish they would change is to smooth out the circular lines, if they were flat it would be perfect under tight thin dresses.

The issue I had with the Shapewear Shorts is the opening in the crotch of the garment is a rather large opening. To the point that it can be uncomfortable through out the day as you wear the shapewear. The garment is well made and has the right amount of support. I will definitely close the crotch of the garment to wear it comfortably. I do not think its a good purchase due to having to make alteration to wear it comfortably. The other shape wear garments that I have purchased has the open crotch, but not and extended opening such as this garment.
