I wrote this review first (then changed it to a 5 stars- read below):“Looks great and when I set it up first after charging I was very impressed: different lighting nuances from low to strong and I like how it looks.That said, after a whole evening when it had to shine , I charged it again and it went off. Turns out it cannot charge properly for a reason.Would have liked to exchange it for a new one but I am now outside the return period.”Then, I got in touch with Tubicen customer support and they answered immediately. Not only did they apologized for the issue but they also immediately refunded the item AND sent me a new one right away! Talk about customer delight!!I am super happy with my new lamp (the old one really had an issue though now that I see that the little charging light lights up on this one) and will definitely buy more from the company, given the chance.

We came across this light when we were dining at a restaurant in Maui. I looked up the name and bought one before we even left the restaurant. The different light settings are perfect for creating any mood. The design is pretty, and the quality of the lamp is terrific.It doesn’t take long to charge and the charge lasts quite a while.We’ve had ours for 3 years and I just bought two more for other areas.

Was looking for a rechargeable light/lantern for chillin on my balcony and this fit the bill. Here shown on the side table, and one on the first or second dim setting. It casts a nice, casual glow on the first two settings and lights up bright at full blast. The selection of available light levels is spot on.Build quality is very good; feels sturdy. The bottom is a nice rubberized pad that's also non-slip, so that's cool. The simple "tap knob to turn on" works very well for the touch version.Does come with the cable needed to charge, but bring your own plug. I had a 2 A charger that did the trick. Indeed the white & gold version doesn't have the charging indicator (at least at the time of this writing). That'd be a nice add. But at 4000 mAh I don't expect to need to charge it often since using it at the lower settings usually. So I just plugged it in and let it charge for a few hours. (Note, it didn't seem to come with any charge. At least mine didn't respond until I plugged it in.)Anyway, it's a handsome lil dude with a nice glow. Quite happy with purchase, little things aside!

I got this about 3 years ago. Still working perfect. I use it every night, it's on our bedside table. I read bedtime stories for my son by its light and it's perfect. It emits a beautiful light color temperature too.It has some weight to it and it doesn't feel cheap like a lot of rechargeable lights. This one has class. Love it.

Probably the most useful battery lamp I've found on Amazon so far. I have a rooftop in NYC with no lights so needed something convenient to carry and put on a table. Gives decent light at highest setting, more so than smaller lights I've bought in the past. Construction is decent I like the carrying handle that feels like it'll last a long time.I'd buy on sale more so in the $40 range. I think paying $50 or more is too much.

This lantern is attractive and very functional. With the handle it can be suspended with a Carabiner. It has a non-slip base & the light lasts a long time without charging. I'm glad I bought this light.

These lanterns feel solid and well made. To my eye the design has a modern Asian vibe, but is also neutral enough that they probably would look good regardless of a home’s style or decor. On the highest setting they put out a good amount of light but it’s a little harsh. When dimmed by tapping the switch on top, the light becomes much softer and more like incandescent than LED. My understanding of the IP 44 rating is that the lanterns are not waterproof but a little mist or drizzle shouldn’t harm them.

I love how the lamp looks but the lamps stated "6.5 - 96 hours" of use is completely wrong. The lamp has never held anywhere near 24 hours light (even on the lowest light setting) and I find that i am in need of constantly charging this lamp.Is my lamp defective?
