Composting for luxury gardening
Solid and easy to assemble

Really worth the effort.
Putting this together us a bit challenging. Lots of small nuts and bolts. The problem is the central divider, it is difficult to fit correctly in the channels provided. Pleased I persevered, the result was a good robust composter, that fits in a small space and looks good.

An absolute nightmare to put together! But good once done.
It took me a week to build this! Admittedly I did it alone, and I'm 70 (not that this should make any difference - I'm well used to putting flatpack etc together). All the holes lined up, which was a plus, but there were a total of 56 tiny screws and nuts, most of which you couldn't see once you started adding the panels - you had to do it by feel; not that much of a problem once I got into a rhythm. The instructions weren't very clear; quite small, only vague pictures with arrows pointing here and there. I enlarged them on my scanner. I think it's just as well I did this on my own - if I'd have had 'help' I think we'd have killed each other by the end!! When all is said and done, I am very happy with the result.

A good bargain for a rotating composter.
I gave this one star less than it deserves and that is because the middle insert (the divider) is a nuisance. Get four sections on and put the divider in, make sure the arrows are facing the arrow on part B. GOOD LUCK KEEPING IT IN THE PLASTIC RUNNERS!!! I’ve removed the divider and it’s not going back in. Assembly instructions are straight forward. Assembly was straightforward enough for me as long as I remembered to put the screws and the nuts in far enough for the self locking nuts to bite and catch. I have fingers like bratwursts’ which makes the nuts very fiddly. I found the doors slightly larger than what the pictures portrayed, which is a good thing. The whole unit sits nicely. For functionality everything works well and it is sturdy. As far as composting capacity, I’ll be chopping everything up to small sizes just to help move the process along. So hopefully I’ll get a good 160 litre capacity. Now, as far as it goes for value for money, I’ve literally just purchased a second one before writing this review. It is great value for money! I know, I gave it four stars but for a valid reason on assembly. Do I really need the divider.. So I have purchased a second one in order to make full use of the discount and to gain 320 litres of composting capacity for under £100. As a retiree, I’ll be looking forward to future composting and I have zero doubts that this item will pay for itself time and time again.

Sturdy Start to Composting – A Solid Buy for the Green Thumb Beginner
The Dripex Tumbling Compost Bin arrived right on schedule and in a good, sturdy box—always a nice first impression. Everything was well-packed, and to my pleasant surprise, no extra tools were needed. The seller thoughtfully included a small screwdriver, which made the whole process feel just that little bit more user-friendly. Now, let’s talk about the instructions. They could definitely be better laid out, and a larger sheet with clearer visuals wouldn’t go amiss. That said, if you’ve ever tackled flatpack furniture (and survived to tell the tale), you’ll be just fine. I managed to assemble it in about 30 minutes, and although it felt a bit flimsy at first, once the panels started coming together, it firmed up nicely into a solid unit. One small design flaw: it doesn’t come with a turning handle. While this isn’t a problem when it’s empty, I can see it being a bit of a chore once it’s full of compost. A handle would’ve made the tumbling process smoother, especially for those of us who prefer to turn compost and not turn ourselves into contortionists. That said, I’m happy with the overall quality so far. On initial look and feel, I can recommend this compost bin—especially for beginners or anyone starting to build their composting routine at home. Time will tell how it holds up to regular use, but first impressions are promising.

Has potential
The first challenge is the poorly printed and largely unhelpful instructions. Unacceptable. Assembled it appears quite robust, the challenge is assembling it as all fastening require one hand inside the drum and one outside. Access becomes an issue nearing completing fixing the drum panels. I had to work out in my head the sequence so that I didn’t make final assembly difficult to impossible. The provision of a handle would have been helpful. Spinning the drum when lightly laden is easy. Nearing getting full, will that still be case. I wonder?
