like this but tricky to undo to store
this is a light and sturdy drying rack upgrade, but it can be difficult for my weaker elderly hands to undo to store, for the plastic tab can be stubborn and tight. I have sprayed the plastic joints and the 'set-up' connectors with WD-40 and it works like a charm now. (Of course if you use this 'trick' take care to remove all extra spray or it will get onto your clothing.) I recommend this and it should be the last one you every have to purchase.

That it won't fall apart. you may have this item for years.
Steel racks will last longer than the wooden ones. After a while (probably a few years) the dowels won't stay in place and it falls apart. The steel drying rack That I purchased is sturdy and folds easily to put away when not in use

Great for lightweight and smaller items
Creaky but does the job. It doesn't hold heavy items well. But for smaller and lighter clothing or cloth it's perfect. It's also flimsy so don't shake it too much. It will fall apart.

It is grey, not silver. Functionally, it is fine
The product description page says it is silver in multiple places. However, when I got the box, the outside of the box clearly said "grey", and the item itself is steel painted grey. It is NOT silver, so if you want something that that looks silver and you are particular about that look, you should perhaps skip this. One star demerit for this. Once you get past the looks of it, the assembly of the rack is trivially simple. It comes with detailed instructions, but if you have a little common sense, you can safely throw away the instructions and do the assembly based on what you know the final product should look like. It took me about 5 minutes to put the product together from when I took it out of the box to when I put a few clothes on it to check it out. A lot of reviews and questions talk about how the product is difficult to put together or that it collapses by itself. I am not entirely sure if these people got the product I got, and whether there were any defective parts included in their package. Given that the package consists of about a dozen rods and two end pieces, I can't imagine what these people are having trouble with if the items are not defective or missing. In terms of sturdiness, it will hold its own as long as your clothes have been dried reasonably well before being put on the rack. Even very wet and heavy clothes should probably be OK as long as you don't overload the rack by a lot. Because of the slenderness and length of the rods on which the clothes go, be careful about putting heavy clothes in the middle of the rods. So far, it has held up pretty well with about 15 to 20 lbs of clothes on it without any problems. The stated capacity of the rack is 50lbs. The feet are covered in plastic so the rack does not scratch up wooden or tile floors. It is not built to be dragged across floors, especially after being loaded with lots of clothes, rather it should be lifted to move it from place to place. If you drag it and bend it out of shape, it is quite possible some rods may get bent or broken. Overall, it looks quite aesthetic (even though the color is misrepresented in the description), and is very functional. I will update if something goes wrong with it.

Sturdy drying rack that stores easily
I hang dry most of my clothes, so a good drying rack gets a lot of use in my house. This one has been great so far. It folds down easily and becomes slim enough to slide under a bed or tuck into a closet when not in use. When it's set up, it holds a surprisingly large amount of laundry and has not shown any signs of sagging, bending, or feeling overloaded. I've used similar racks from other brands that developed wobbly joints or broke after very little use, so I was happy that this one feels secure and well built. It strikes a nice balance between being lightweight enough to move around and sturdy enough to trust with a full load of clothes. The price also feels fair for the quality. If you air dry regularly and need something that stores compactly, I would definitely recommend it.

DECENT LITTLE RACK!
The rack arrived intact, and assembled easily. The instructions have only pictures, but it's intuitively-simple to do, if you just look at the picture, takes about 5 minutes, with no tools needed. I like that the tubing is metal, albeit very light gauge, instead of plastic, while the fittings for them are hard plastic. It's very tight and sturdy, once assembled, with no sway or loose fittings noted. Though it's rated for 50 pounds, being a weightlifter all my life, I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with that, maybe half or a little more. I couldn't figure out how to fold it, as it wouldn't just collapse with pressure. I asked the AI and also read the reviewer comments to find it was very easily, once the "secret" was revealed. All that is necessary is to remove the one top bar (upward) that allows this, and it folds nicely, accordion style. I think this is probably as good as or better than the other similar ones here, and I'm quite satisfied.

Better than I expected!!
I just got it today and I love it. I'm 82 and I put it together in about 5 minutes by myself. I was worried when I saw all the pieces, but it was really easy to figure it out and get it together. I already have a load hanging on it. It's great. I hope it doesn't rust. Now I'm going to get clothespins so I can use it outdoors!! It's light and easy to move from place to place, and easy to collapse.

Overall work as expected
Works great but at 8 months of use some parts are breaking down. The disk for the bar broke apart. I have to super glue it for it to work.

Broke within 2 months.
Click-in-place assembly when I thought I had purchased a sturdier screw-in-place option. Very rickety and made of cheap plastics/thin metal. Bars are glued onto plastic connection-pieces, no screws. No way to fix this, didn't even last 8 weeks. $20 racks from the local junk stored have lasted longer.
