Great for replacing that stock, short battery cable bolt.
If you're looking at this part you probably ran into the same problem I did. The stock bolt and even most aftermarket battery bolt are too short. Since these bolts screw into the relatively soft lead terminal of the battery, too much torque combined with the stock bolt only obtaining about 2-3 threads worth of engagement will result in the bolt stripping out the battery and maybe the bolt itself (if brass - see pic). Of course this bolt is way too long and will need to be cut down (unless your stacking multiple wire connectors/rings under it. Anyway, I cut mine down to 12.5mm (battery only has about 10mm of depth) taking into account the roughly 2.7mm factory cable terminal/plate thickness. While this whole process only gives you about 2-2.5 more thread engagement, it's enough to solve the problem of not getting your cables tight due to being stripped out. While it does need to be trimmed down to your specific application, at least you have enough to start with.
