Crest 3D Whitestrips for Sensitive Teeth, Teeth Whitening Strip Kit, 28 Strips (14 Count Pack)

Last time I tried whitening my teeth was several years ago. The process was maddening and painful. The strips were a pain in the arse to handle, get onto my teeth and when I did finally mange to, it hurt like hell for days after. I've always had sensitive gums and teeth so I figured I would never be able to whiten my teeth. I decided to get brave and give these a try and I am SO glad I did! I'm only about 5 days into the box and I am relieved to say that the process has been night and day. The strips are super easy to put on and stick well. The material kind of reminds me of a thicker press and seal material (aka the best cling wrap ever made). I was very nervous about it hurting but so far I have only had minimal soreness after the first two treatments. I changed to doing them only every other day and that's solved all my sensitivity issues. It wasn't all that bad though to begin with. So far the results have been surprising! After even just once treatment I noticed a subtle difference. I had yellowing on my teeth from years of tea drinking and the yellow was at least one shade lighter. Now onto treatment #6 today and the yellowing is at least 1/2-3/4 the way gone. Amazing! I think by the time I am done I am going to be really pleased with the final result. Unfortunately I didn't take any good before pics, but suffice to say this stuff does make a difference if traditional whitening treatments don't work well for you. The only con is that I wish the lower strip was longer like the top. It says in the instructions not to switch them, but I honestly can't see why it would matter other than unneaven whitening. I have alternated placing the bottom strop slightly off to one side before as well to try to even out my bottom results. That seems to work pretty good when I alternate which side I do that on, then back to center. I will definitely be buying these again.

When Whitestrips first came out a long time ago, I bought a pack and was unable to use them because they made my teeth ache when I wasn't wearing them, and gave me sharp pains (the "zings") into the roots of some of my teeth when I was wearing them. It was pretty unpleasant with the first couple of strips, and only got worse the more I wore them so I had to stop using them and just assumed I would not be able to whiten my teeth at all. That was a long time ago, and now that there is a "sensitive" formula, I decided to give it a try- and have been pleasantly surprised. No zings, no sharp pain, and only a little bit of aching that wasn't strong or very noticeable. I took a few days off when I started to feel increased sensitivity after the 7th strip (the halfway mark) and the pain went away and hasn't come back. I'm down to the last strip with no pain and noticeably whiter teeth. It's hard to compare to the regular strength Whitestrips, because I haven't used the latest formulation or completed a full course, but a friend has and his teeth are RADIANT. He said he didn't feel pain and that most of the whitening seemed to show up after the first few uses, and not so much consistently. For me, the whitening has been gradual and not as dramatic as I would hope, but I guess these are the limitations of the sensitive formula. I am happy that there are at least some noticeable whitening effects that I'm happy with and hardly any pain or increased sensitivity. I will say that the whitening is more pronounced on my top teeth than bottom, which are yellower and seem to be more stained. Honestly I don't really care that much as the top teeth are the most visible and all anyone is most likely going to see. I am working on cutting back on my coffee and black tea habit (not only because it stains my teeth), and I'm sure that will help to maintain the whitening effects. I do plan to do another course of this sensitive formula in about 6 months (the recommended amount of time between whitestrips use) once I am done with coffee and have given my teeth a break, to try and get at more of the deeper stains. Overall though, happy to get some pain-free whitening!

Giving it 4 stars as I have used it a couple times now and noticed it has done SOME whitening! Only issue being I could only leave it on for 10 minutes before I noticed it was bothering my gums a tad and the teeth.. these don’t hurt per say, just noticed that the spittle mixed with the gel that kind of seeps out as it sits on your teeth bothers my sensitive mouth.. I am a very sensitive person so keep that in mind. It’s a shame the ingredients are chemical but that’s what I paid for this time so can’t comment on that, just the brand itself. Will update more when I’ve used them for longer and let you know how it goes!

For years I have been terrified of whitening my teeth because last time I tried I experienced shooting nerve pains that were as terrible as everyone says they are. I grind my teeth at night and despite a mouthguard and botox in my masseter muscles, I still experience tooth sensitivity. So I was very afraid to try this product. But my dentist said the newer "sensitive whitening products" really are good. She also shared a journal article with me about a study where the patients took 600mg of ibuprofen 30 minutes prior to whitening. Followed by fluoride toothpaste after whitening. I'm speechless, and pain free thank goodness. I always did the 600mg ibuprofen 30-60 minutes prior, followed by a Whitestrip for 15-30 minutes (gradually increased the time over a few days because I was scared at first). And after removal, I brushed with a high-fluoride toothpaste and left that on my teeth for 30 minutes after each cycle. It works. I'm incredibly excited that this is an option for me now! (as always please consult your own dentist or MD for advice). As I said in the title, no lightning sensation, no zingers, no zaps. 10/10 would def recommend.

My teeth have never been as white as I’d like, but I’ve developed a tea habit in the last couple of years that make me feel like my teeth are more yellow than ever. However, I’ve always struggled with extreme sensitivity, and the regular strips would cause me too much chronic pain after 2 or 3 treatments. Forget the 1 hour express strips! I thought I’d give these a try, even after seeing a review that said you’d probably need 2 boxes of 14 strips to get the results you want. I found that to be true for me. I got through about 20 (practically) consecutive sets of strips before I really noticed any sensitivity, and even then, it was fairly minor. It wasn’t a constant pain, but more like a bit of sensitivity if I sucked in a bunch of cold air suddenly through my mouth, or if I suddenly drank a mouthful of cold liquid and let it sit in my mouth. The whitening level I achieved after 20 strips was quite satisfactory, so I switched to every 3/4 days for maintenance after that. Super happy with my new smile!

It would not be an overstatement to say that this product has changed my life. My teeth were so badly yellowed and stained that I had not been able to look at them in the mirror for years. I could see other people sometimes look at them with an expression of disgust. I had tried the Whitestrips years ago, but they caused so much pain that I had to stop after a few days, and all they did was cause some white spots, which fortunately disappeared. I had resigned myself to the fact that I had yellow teeth. The other day, after my cleaning at the dentist, I mentioned to my oral hygienist that I was not happy with how yellow my teeth were. She said that they had the $500 trays there and also Crest Whitestrips, which she said she uses. She assured me that the sensitivity goes away after a few days, and that the white spots are probably just calcium deposits in your teeth that show up first but then fade in. She thought I could get my teeth whiter. So I looked online at Crest Whitestrips and saw they now make these for sensitive teeth. I figured I would give it a try before spending $500 at the dentist. To my surprise, these are much improved from the original strips. They really stick to your teeth without any mess, so you can place them where you want without getting any below your sensitive gum line. You can also press them into the sides of your teeth. It is as if they were molded to your teeth. And they really work! Even on horrifying yellow teeth like mine used to be. After the first day, I was able to look at my teeth in the mirror for the first time in years!! I found myself putting on lipstick and smiling! With every day, my teeth have gotten whiter. I have used them for five days now, and am THRILLED with how my teeth look. They are now a very natural nice shade for my age (51). Even if they don’t get any whiter, the results have been beyond what I imagined possible. I literally keep looking in the mirror and smiling, and I feel so much more confident talking to people. I have had some sensitivity, but nothing near the pain that I remember from the original strips, and it goes away after half a day. I do use a prescription toothpaste for sensitive teeth, which I put on my teeth if I feel any tingling, but it really has not been bad at all. And I am so thrilled with the results. I can't wait to see how much whiter they get by the end of the box. Really – this product is a life-changer for people like me. Thank you, Crest!!!

It's been years since I've used whitestrips. I can't use whitening toothpaste because it irritates my mouth. When I saw this advertised I figured I would give it a try. It seemed a bit pricier than I remembered, but it's been quite awhile. The strips are very different from what they were years ago. They are very sticky (almost a bit hard to get off). They adhere and do not slip around like the old ones did, also seems like reduced packaging which is good. You apply two strips (one top, one bottom) once a day for 30 minutes (14 days total). I am on day 11. I don't think I ever got this far before. My teeth would be too sensitive after a few applications and I'd have to stop, although I did see results. There's no chart or tab to help you get a good starting point for comparison and I didn't take before pics, however I don't feel like I'm seeing results. It may be a slight difference, but I haven't gotten any compliments (almost always in the past at least someone would ask if I whitened my teeth or comment on it). Yeah, I've not been going out nearly as much because of Covid but I'm not overly impressed. I may attempt a second round since it has been painless, but I haven't decided yet. I guess I'd say it's worth a try if you have sensitive teeth, but don't have high expectations.

These are truly so much better than the regular whitening strips! I've done the regular twice (because I'm a coffee lover) during the past few years and my teeth get so sensitive that eating and drinking is uncomfortable. But I'm stubborn and refuse to waste a product I paid $30+ for. Instead of using the strips every day like it says I was doing it twice a week. That worked better and I wasn’t as sensitive. With these, I haven't had to worry about it because I've hardly had any sensitivity at all. I still only do them every other day just in case. They are thicker and a little different but still whiten the same. I don't usually use the upper and lower strips for the upper and lower teeth, I instead use almost all of them for my upper teeth. With my smile my bottom teeth are hardly seen so I don't bother much with them. I'll use a few to make sure there's not a big color different but like I said they aren't really seen. This actually works out really well! For instance, let's say you were to get a "14 strip" box. You would receive 14 sets of upper and lower strip applications, which is 28 separate strips to use. I personally would use 20-22 for upper, therefore getting more product for a smaller package.

Funcionan perfectamente! Me encanta que se nota la diferencia en el tono de los dientes, obviamente con el uso constante. Yo utilicé la mitad de las tiras en un mes y la otra mitad al mes siguiente, porque depende de lo blancos que quieras ver tus dientes. El primer mes las usé hasta que vi mejoría y el siguiente mes las continué. CERO sensibilidad me causaron, por esa razón es mi segunda vez que las ordeno!
