Exactly like factory.
I bought these based on another photo review someone posted. These appear to be genuine shells, not knockoffs. A great cheap upgrade. Don’t forget your new batteries as well. These do not come with logo. After reading some other reviews where people had trouble with their fobs and I’m going to try and address some of the problems they are experiencing. They returned them unnecessarily. I encourage you to watch a video on how these come apart. The “chip” part is a tiny square shaped piece wedged in the upper half of the fob. You need to remove it from the old piece and fit it in the new upper housing. People that didn’t have keys work made this mistake. The new blank keys that came with this don’t necessarily need to be cut if your old key is in good shape. Drive the tiny roll pin out with a small punch it is attached to the key, it’s the metal part at the base. Add your old key and drive the roll pin back in place. Easy.If your key fob doesn’t work you may have the battery in backwards. I made this mistake. When it says + that means the + faces you not the other way around. If it still doesn’t work it may not be assembled correctly, take it apart and try again. I had both of these reassembled in 20 minutes and had no problems at all.One person said the swichblade key function did not spring open after reassembly. They didn’t assemble it correctly. Try again until it works correctly.I did not really discover a great way to remove the logo without destroying it and cracking it. You need to remove the logo and behind that is a tiny Phillips head screw you have to remove before the upper half comes apart.I feel bad for the seller. People have been sending back these fobs because of user error not the fault of the key fobs themselves. Have some patience and figure it out before sending it back.

Not easy to transfer old parts to new
I finally, after several hours, was able to get these things to work but not at a 100%. Only 2 buttons work and it the key doesn't retract as before. This replacement is very technique sensitive and in my opinion, not worth it. I was better off just cleaning the old one and taking my chances from there. It was a waste of money.

They work!
They work but it cheaply made. The pieces are not tight so it will probably break in a couple of years. But I'm still giving it a 4 star because it only cost $20. The dealership said it would cost $500 and the lock and key company said they charge $275. So this is well worth it!!!

Tight fit with original key, needs broken in
After using it some the battery has died because the case is constantly hitting the panic button.Everything worked well. The buttons were not put together but I've taken apart the original fob enough to know it and it's simple. The fit is very tight if you are moving over your original key and it will take some messing with to get it to close fully.

Doesn’t come with the chip, essentially useless
I’ve ordered other key fobs and they come with the standard chip inside, some even with batteries. This pair did not come with either of that. So basically if you HAVE a key, you can get new buttons with this but that’s really it.

Nearly Identical to OEM
Although this product does not exactly match the original key fob, it was close enough to where all one has to do is swap: 1) the electronics, 2) the key (either cut a new one or take your old one out and replace), and 3) the transponder (this is a very small 'piece' but without it your car won't start). Also, if you're careful in removing them to access to the small screw, you can even place the Mazda logo back on the new key fob with a little silicone. Other than the overall thickness, you won't notice major differences.

Took some work but I didn't have to replace my key
The buttons on my car remote were cracked and the remote didn't work. I replaced part of the case and reused the section with the key. The remote works again. Much less expensive than buying a new key and getting it programmed.
