TV Listener J3 Infrared Stereo System with Additional Headset

I bought this product for my 86 years old brother and his wife. My 92 year old husband and I are on our third set - we love them, my brother just called and they are thrilled with theirs. So practical and simple for less techy oldsters.

Been using these headsets for years , Really years , everyday of the week !! We are Big TV watchers .These have worked perfect for us ! I do not understand the people that have the troubles postedOn here . I feel it is something they haven’t set up right.We have had to replace the headsets only because we wear them out .

Im glad i purchased this product, works very well. I would recommend it ro someone else who has hearing problems. Thanks. After using it for a week, I have to change my review; if I was not sitting right at the tv about eight I could not here a thing. If I moved my head in a certain angle the sound would become distorted. And last but not least it ran hot and stopped working in a week. I have to send it back and bought another listening device. So this one works great all over the house. It is called: Avantree, I love it, I can move around freely all over my house and can here my tv with crystal clear sound.

Watching tv in silence

I like the quality of hearing.

My wife and I have used these headsets for over 10 years. They have greatly improved our enjoyment of watching and listening to TV as we can watch different TVs at the same time or the same TV with different volumes. The product is simple to use and stands up well to even regular use by the grand kids. We have three TVs and each has the transmitter and at least one set of headsets.

I don,t have to keep the tv up when my wife goes to bed. I am deaf in one ear. Thank you very much.

We placed the transmitter on the right side of the stereo cabinet since the IR sensors were on the right side of the headphone and we still got noise on the sound. I"m not sure if we had a defective unit or if this was typical of how they worked but it was unacceptable. I spoke with customer service and assured them we were using fresh batteries and that we had a good line-of-sight from the headsets to the transmitter so we ended up sending them back for a refund. Since my wife and I both have blue tooth headphones, we purchased a blue tooth transmitter that would support two headphones simultaneously. This arrangement has worked much better.
