I bought my Soundlink III, and I had to order a new battery because it kept shutting off. The new battery solved the problem.

My experiance on a refurbished speaker, is not good, Bose soundlink3 I'm sure is a decent pruduct myne faild to turn on after one day I returned the pruduct, and am waiting for a refund hopefully others will have better luck!
