Someone recommended this tuning tool to me and I'm so happy I bought it. My low Eb key was constantly dropping pitch and waiting between professional full tunings to fix it was very inconvenient. I'm no expert in piano tuning, but as a pianist I know enough to maintain the pitch of this one key. I've only had to use it a few times in between full tunings since I bought it, which really speaks to how well it works.The handle is easy to hold and the tuning hammer is very sturdy, making using it a breeze.I also love the soft velvet cloth case it comes with. Perfect for storing it while not looking out of place.

Unlike my previous tuning hammer which damaged the tuning pins, this wrench allows for precise adjustments without harming the delicate components of the piano. Its design offers both durability and precision, making it a great choice for maintaining the instrument's sound quality and integrity.

Very easy to use

Excellent tool, helps a lot with the horribly detuned piano we have at home. No major qualms, but the detachable head sometimes wobbles. Not a huge problem, and it doesn't decrease functionality. Great purchase

After trying unsuccessfully trying to loosen the extension ring, I saw on closer inspection that it doesn't really function. It's there for show only. Another concern is that the tip appears to be screwed onto the hammer head and bonded. It is tight enough to function in both directions, but if it ever came loose the hammer would no longer be functional. I decided to return it because of this, but otherwise the hammer is pretty nice for the money. Just don't expect it to extend.

The product looks fine I am a professional piano tuner and Have a very similar Hammer I bought years ago from a piano supply company I can adjust the length on this one I can't because it is so tight I can't loosen it to make the adjustment . Can someone from the manufacturer contact me to give me advice on how I can loosen the adjustment arm

They included a velvet bag that had a hole in the bottom. It was easy to cut above the hole and sew it up again. I don't know why they did not do that before they shipped it. Shipping the tool bag with a hole in it was cheesy. The socket of the tool I expected to have a taper as the piano pegs are tapered, however, it does not. The socket is straight. The tool is heavy duty and does the job just fine. No slipping or looseness, so it is a good tool. Piano is in tune now, so I am happy!
