Safety Key Chain, Solid Aluminum Short Stick Protection Gift Keychains for Women

This safety key chain is exactly as described. The price is good and the quality is exceptional. It can be dropped in a small handbag so easily and doesn't get in the way of everything else. It's simple and practical and I'm carrying this thing. In a pinch I think it will give me an edge.

I took a self defense class years ago for my job. We were trained to use one of these key chains. I carried mine all of the time. Not only do they work well for self defense, but they are a deterrent, as well. I ordered these for my daughter and daughter-in-law. They are made out of solid aluminum and even though they are not real heavy, they are sufficiently strong. They are the perfect size for self defense and would fit in most purses. The price is a good value.

It is sturdy and well made. Since it is a weapon, make sure it is legal where you intend to carry it. The gendered description is not necessary. Good product.

Also spelled, apparently correctly, "kubaton." There's a web page about the different spellngs. Anyway, this is fine. A bit pricey at nearly $8, when a multi-pack can be purchased for only about twice that. But if one wants to try it out and not have five or so aluminum short rods, here you are. This is that standard size, 0.6 inch diameter, 5.5 inches long. I'd have preferred two squared ends. Even small points lose some versatility. Overall, not bad for $8, if somewhat overpriced.

I had lost my key, so the one that I had bought at an actual gun store was much bigger than this and built better. This one I would not purchase it again disappointed.
