True Star Gift Set for Men (Eau De Toilette Spray, Men Knit Cap)

I ran across this scent a couple of years ago and loved it, so I bought it. I used to buy one scent and wear it all the time, only changing every year or two. This one was my last favorite. About a year ago, I decided to mix things up. I went shopping and bought all the scents that I really liked; 6 different ones. Then, I wore a different one every day and cycled through them. This one is still my current favorite, though. I get compliments on it and I find that it stays with me all day. I can't smell it even a few minutes after applying it, but, I've gotten compliments on it at the end of the day, so, it must be long-lasting.About 8 months ago, I was out with some friends and happened to be wearing this scent. A woman standing in a line behind me complimented me on it. I invited her to join our table and she's now my girlfriend of 8 months. It's her favorite scent on me, so naturally, I wear it much more regularly now :)

Cost way too much, but couldn't find it in any store

I bought a bottle of True Star EDT at an airport Duty-Free shop a couple of years ago and rarely ever apply it. It's got a great look to the bottle and cap, but the fragrance just isn't very strong and it isn't long-lasting. It fades in an hour or two and isn't a very distinct scent.The other problem is that the shiny metallic cap has an inner plastic piece glued to the inside that cups tightly over the dispenser nozzle. The glue on my cap came off after repeated use, so now the cap is in two pieces.If you're looking for a youthful, light, and excellent-smelling fragrance, I recommend L'eau D'issey By Issey Miyake For Men. Eau De Toilette Spray 4.2 Ounces instead. It has a much more pronounced citrusy scent that lasts for hours. I've always gotten compliments on my Issey. Never for True Star.

I bought this for my husband after being recommended by my sister-in-law. We like it, and it's good to have a new scent, but it is not as good as Aqua D'Gio in our opinions.

i've been wearing this stuff since it came out in 05, and have always loved it. unique, clean smell i'd def recommend. never really get many comments on it, as it seems to fade over a couple hours, but i think it still vaguely stays on you and thats all you need to push her over the edge.

After reading an article, I decided to order it (I really need to stop buying blind).This is supposed to be a citrus-spicy-sweet with a hint of marine scent. It's fair at best. I'd describe it as sweet and aquatic with a hint of .....plastic. There are better colognes out there to spend your money on.If you're looking for a citrus-spicy blend, I'd suggest something more like Gio, Curve or D&G Light Blue. If you're looking for something with more of a marine-water-oceanic scent, I'd suggest Bvlgari Aqva (for a deeper ocean scent) or Bvlgari Aqva Marine (for a lighter saltwater type of scent).
