Bell & MacKenzie Publishing Healing Hashimoto's Thyroid Cookbook: Simple and effective recipes to help relieve the symptoms of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis

Not for hashimoto's or auto immune disease patients
Not really helpful cookbook for hashimoto sufferers. In the beginning pages it stated which is true, which food types are to be avoided, such as:* Alcohol* Gluten* Dairy* Soy* Certain Nuts* Corn* Eggs* PreservativesAll these types of foods can inflame your thyroid or alter the balance of your hormones, that make u feel tired or have insomnia, depressed, lose or gain weight. However in the book contains may ingredients in the recipes which were meant to be avoided. Such ingredients:* Eggs* Prosecco (Alcohol)* Chickpeas, Borlotti Beans (Lectins)* Rye (Gluten)* Wholemeal pasta/bread (Gluten)* Soy Sauce (Soy)* Yogurt, Butter, Ricotta, Mascapone, Creme Fraiche (Dairy)* Dark Chocolate (Soy Lectins)* Bacon (Cured Processed Meat)* Chilli/Harrisa (Inflammatory)* Protein Powder (Usually Whey powder = Dairy)Only a very few recipes in the book are free from these potentially problematic ingredients, making it challenging for those needing to follow a strict diet to manage their thyroid or hormone health.I was really hoping for a book that allows you to have a month-long period clear from these ingredients. Sadly, I was let down. More research from the author would be beneficial if they consider creating such a book, as many people seriously suffer from these dietary restrictions. A thoughtfully crafted guide free from these ingredients could greatly improve the lives of those dealing with thyroid and hormonal issues.
