Stud finder works, but sensors like anything require some human interpretation. Don't simply rely on the arrows - I've had to adapt and use common sense to locate the meat of a stud, as the indicator give you a wider range than your stud is wide. On a whole, it's nice that it detects electric current and metal as well, couldn't argue with that for safety.

I recently bought the previous version and it was a great product. This one is even better, material-wise feels good. It performs as it should. It has a percentage meter which I found to be super useful. In the previous model, my hand would mess with the readings but I did not experience this issue this time. Sometimes while scanning the same place I would get different results. I tested this one with the same location and previous hole that I made and it was 100% accurate. The is a great product which I will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

This is the 3rd stud finder I've purchased, and the 5th overall I've used while doing installs in my studio. I waited until I put the finder through several tasks before leaving this review, and this is definitely a keeper. The interface is straight forward and easy to operate, but more importantly this bad boy is ACCURATE and well priced. I rather not go into how many "mistake holes" I've dealt with due to unreliable stud finders, but suffice to say it's been plenty. With this, it was one and done FINALLY. I fully recommend for your tool box.

Long to get start calibration before sweeping the wall. Very accurate, but not robust.
