What are the mandrel sizes, either in mm or inches, please?

10 of the double-sided tools have numbers that correspond with their size in mm; 1mm - 20mm The other two double-sided pencil-shaped tools have points that are labeled A, B C and D. A is the smallest and D is the biggest, but I do not know the exact measurements of those four points.

Directions on how to use dot painting toos

You dip either end of the tool into the paint pot, then gently place the dot onto paper, rock, or canvas. Whatever you’re working on. Check out YouTube for videos.

What is the difference between the numbered vs. lettered tools?

I'm guessing that different manufacturers use different ways of labeling the tools from smallest to largest. This set starts with 1 as the tiniest and goes up.

New Favorite Dotting Tools

These have become my absolute favorite dotting tools! They are very well made, great size and shape and are incredibly easy to use. They make perfect dots in every size I could possibly want. Love that I get 24 sizes with only 12 tools. The numbers/letters on the tools are very easy to read, and make it so easy to get the right dot every time. Very easy to clean. Seriously, these tools are perfect!

Best tools for dotting

I am a beginner and I bought the steel ball tip dotting tools for 5.99. They work good on flat surfaces but on rounded stones I was getting so frustrated because the steel ball does not make good enough contact with the rounded stone. I read the reviews on these and decided to try them even though I thought they were kind of pricey but I love them!! I am practicing on stones and I am very pleased that I am now getting consistent dots! The flat tip of these tools really work well on the stones. I highly recommend these for dotting mandalas on stones.
