This was a bit fiddly to fit around the window, but once in place it seems to work well.

Great product, looked at numerous others but was pleased to be able to get one from a known brand. It is slightly on the loud side but most decent a/c at this price range are. Quickly produces decent cooled air and cools a room down quickly - only negative is that the length of the supplied hose was very short and no window kit but I have purchased a 6m extension. Quality is great and as we are due another heatwave shortly, glad I have this.

It works. Easy enough to fit (took about 10 minutes). I've bought 2, one fitted to a small window and one for a tall window, there's plenty of room in this and both have excess left over. I have no idea what the sticky back Velcro does to the window frame when removing it... It's seriously sticky, but it has to be. One issue... on the small window which is higher up, the AC pipe doesn't want to stay where I put it... and the zips on this are so light to move that they'll open up when the pipe pulls back a bit, so if the zips could lock into position then they'd stop the pipe moving... without that it's just a bit of a faff to get the pipe to stay put and the zip into the best place where it will stay put. But again, it works... it keeps the hot air out, and HOPEFULLY keeps any insects out at the same time (but with the various handles etc windows have, I'm not sure it's possible to put this or anything similar up without some small gaps). Both been up for a day now with AC running all the time in heatwave, still in place... so far so good.

We had some plastic on the window and it was noisy, so we came to Amazon to look for something we could put up around the window. This was very easy to install. Just clean around the frame, put up the tape. Then put up the surround. It seals very well and we have been using our AC and there is no hot air coming back into the house. Very functional, great value for the money and the appearance is unobtrusive. Would highly recommend.

If you're in need of a means to get hot, humid air out of a room, or need a way of moving toxic exhaust fumes from equipment (3D printing, etc) away from a space, then grab yourself a big ol' hose, this window seal kit, and 10 minutes later you can actually breath clean air again! Inside the package there is the window seal material itself, which is made of a waterproof fabric, has 2 sets of zippers for 2 different exhaust pipes, and has the 'female' side of the hook-and-loop (non-brand 'Velcro') tape pre-installed for quick installation. There is also the reel of 'male' sided hook-and-loop tape, which has an adhesive backing to it, for sticking onto the window and window seal. And lastly, thankfully, a set of instructions in multiple languages, with images and tips to make installation involve fewer expletives screamed from mistakes. Installation of the window seal is a doddle, and although the instructions may seem somewhat complicated at first, it really is as simple as installing some hook-and-loop (non-brand 'Velcro') adhesive tape on the window and window frame, then sticking the window seal material to that adhesive tape. Installing can be achieved in minutes, provided you aren't intoxicated from toxic fumes whilst you're working.. It's easy to use once installed, and can be easily removed due to the hook-and-loop means of attaching. Although advertised primarily for air conditioners or tumble dryers, this window seal can be used for a wide variety of applications where you simply need ventilation. I am using it for 3D printing, fitting an exhaust system to the printer, and getting those y̶u̶m̶m̶y̶ toxic fumes out of the window. However, it can also be used as a quick and easy way of modulating air flow so you adjust the amount of air flowing through a window via the zippers, which is especially great for when you just want a slight breeze without having game force winds blistering through your house!

Genius! Where have these been all my adult life? Easy to fit, secure and so convenient. Remove pipe and close window when not being used. Really happy with these.
