Incredible transfer Board! Durable hard plastic makes sliding into chair, car seat MUCH MUCH EASIER, very smooth compared to all the wood transfer boards!!!

After a long hospital/ rehab stay, my mom said this board was better than the ones they used at the rehab. Very slick on the top for easy transfers when low strength individuals need to move, but the pads keep it in place.

During recovery and rehab, my wife needed to transfer from surface to surface. This product made that easier for her. However, this only works, if the 2 surfaces (chair, bed, potty or shower chair) are next to each other without much gap. We use this product for most transfers and a Beasy board (which is bulky and sturdy) for the transfers that have more than 6 inch gap between surfaces.

You can not transfer unless one end is held down to prevent it from flipping & it has to be pulled out from under the one transferring . .From a padded bedside toilet with arm up that I bought from Amazon .. over $100 .. to my power wheelchair with and without the arm rest up. I ended up being shoved to move . This was not pleasant . I am a small person . This could have worked with a transfer sliding sheet some boards are including . Handle is not positioned where one could pull & lift up . Handle is more for carrying it . The edges were a selling point that did not prove to ease my transition . The design should have made the width around the edges wider to slide under the person & from the board to another object the same height.As I moved the board started to flip up.Could not slide & I suggest not getting this .It is heavy & I have a great power wheelchair . This should come with a warning to wear protective gear plus a caregiver is needed !

This transfer board is well designed and helps to make a smooth transfer. It's sturdy, but somewhat flexible, unlike the wooden board I was using. The tapered edges and non slip backing are helpful.
