OKABASHIMen’s Torino Flip Flops - Sandals

I go to a lot of department stores and I see the slippers they have on sale. The slippers I see are...1. Too furry as they make your feet too hot. Your feet smell and at worse case scenario, all the fur in those house slippers give you foot and nail fungus as your feet can't breathe in all the fur.2. You feet sweat in a lot of current house slippers that are available3. Uncomfortable as the materials many manufactures make their slippers from are of poor quality4. Many slippers sold at department stores are not durable. At one time I bought a pair of name brand slippers (forgot the brand), and within 3 months the slippers tore up to the point I could not wear them anymore.Right now Okabashi sandals or house slippers are the only and I stress ONLY decent brand of house slippers that are worth buying. I've been buying Okabashi for about 12 years and very happy with this brand. The average life span of Okabashi I buy have been from 3 to 4 years long before I had to replace them. Right now Okabashi are the only brand of house slippers that are....1. Durable2. Comfortable3. Don't get your feet too hot or cause your feet to get foot fungus4. Can wear with socks comfortably if your feet do get cold5. Last at least 2 to 3 years before you have to buy new ones6. Versatile.The rest of these other house slippers with fur, slipper soles, poor quality, lack of durability as they fall apart in 3 months or less and just flat our uncomfortable are not worth buying . Okabashi in my opinion are the BEST house slippers around.

I use these as gardening sandals or throw on to walk outside sandals. They're comfortable, they're not slippery. Best of all, they don't shrink when left in the sun like many inexpensive sandals. They last for years.

I bought a previous version from a couple years ago. Very durable, which was enough for me. But the current version is softer and more comfortable. Quality product, now improved. Will buy again, but no for a while, as they are long lasting.

I have worn these for decades. Always make my feet feel good after a long day at work. I use them when gardening and to the beach easy clean

Very good shoes, great for around the house

I bought the Torino slip ons. Initial quality seems great. I wear 13s and have a wide forefoot, these fit snug. Maybe a little too snug, time will tell. If I had the option I would have ordered 13.5s because I like a looser fitting slide, but the biggest available were 13. Add more sizes for us big guys and so far, due to the quality I have seen at onset, I will buy more in the future.

Well constructed and comfortable. This is my third pair in seventeen years.

I typically don't write Amazon reviews, although I buy a variety of different items from Amazon including clothing, shoes, appliances, food items, and much more. Over the years I have owned several pairs of Okabashi sandals that were bought from local walk-in retailers. We moved several years ago into a more rural area where Okabashi is not available which is why I bought them through Amazon. I was looking forward to my new sandals as both of my old repairs have worn out. My new sandals arrived and was disappointed that the left sandal appears to have an the issue in the sizing of the width. It is inconsistent with the right. Some might say that this is due to one of my feet being smaller when in actuality it is a function of not matching the correct size of each sandal with its mate or poor craftsmanship. I love Okabashi and have recommended them to friends and family for the past 20 years and am not trying to disparage them. Made in the USA carries weight with me and am confident this is a minor mistake by a factory worker. I will return these sandals and order a second pair as a replacement.
