Great little headphones going on 3 (updated: 19) months of frequent use
I've had these since Jan 16, 2018, and wanted to wait a while to write about them. I update most of my reviews if my purchases continue working exceptionally well so I expect to be doing that with these even after a year. They are working just fabulously after four months still! My husband had a cheapie $5 bluetooth pair he bought to use when mowing the lawn, so I was able to compare the two and it's obvious some thought went into the making of these -- they're plastic but they're quite sturdy and feel well-made compared to his. Have had no trouble getting them to connect to my iPhone. I treated the charging cord very carefully because I saw some other reviewers had trouble with it coming apart, but sadly even with care, the end that went into the headphones just plain broke off and separated from the wire. I wrote in on here to complain to the company (not even realizing that duh, I could use any one of the micro-usb cords from other devices to charge it) and they were super apologetic and said they would get another one in the mail asap to me. I thought they meant just the cord...lo and behold another whole headphones set showed up! Bless them. That's some customer service right there. I probably still won't use the charging cords since I know they're prone to weakness, but my hubby got free headphones out of the deal and doesn't have to use his uber-cheap pair anymore, haha! Nobody is going to believe me but I actually have a pair of Beats Monster headphones and I like the iJoy better. They don't squeeze my head or smash my ears so viciously, lol, and the sound is quite comparable, in my music tastes anyway. UPDATE 8/21/19 -- still working great, have not noticed any issues or decrease in charge, which I consider a bit freakish for anything over a year! I AM CAREFUL WITH THEM. I don't throw them in a tote bag or across the room or drop them down the stairs, so that probably explains part of why they and a lot of my other things last a long time. I don't use them every single day now, maybe four times a week for a few hours when playing games or watching movies on my Kindle while I don't want to listen to my hubby's boring fishing shows on tv, but it's still going strong. I have no idea where my original charging cord is, I just charge it with one of the multiple Kindle chargers I have sitting around. My hubs' pair also still works and charges great, he mostly uses it when mowing the lawn while also listening to boring fishing podcasts. Weirdo. I'm probably the only one who noticed this but the blue light on it is BRIGHT AS HECK at night in a bedroom when you're an insomniac trying not to wake your significant other while watching youtube. Like seriously the blue light is brighter than my entire phone screen on dim. I had to stick a little piece of electric tape over it and even then I still get a glow. But that's what I get for being a night owl, I guess! Still highly recommend, no complaints.

Nice headphones for an affordable price
I initially ordered these headphones almost 4 years ago. They were still working great with solid sound quality and comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time. Bluetooth connectivity is what you'd expect, no problems connecting to computer, phone, tablet. The microphone wasn't great so don't expect to have clear voice calls, but for listening to music its perfectly fine. The only issue I had is that after about 3.5 years the leather-like material on the left earphone started to peel off. I was able to fairly easily pull the headphone cushion off to see how easy it would be to replace it. However, I had issues when attempting to reattach it and had to look up reviews on how to reattach it because it was not going back on easily. Some reviews said that you can remove the plastic ear part to reattach the cushion, which is true, but be careful not to pull it too far. Unfortunately when I removed the plastic earpiece under the ear cushion, it came out too far and the soldered wires broke off leaving the the left earpiece no longer connected and unable to function. Ultimately, I got almost 4 years of enjoyment out of this headset and probably could have gotten more time if the leather ear cushion didn't start to peel off. I could also probably fix it if I knew how to solder wiring, but for ~$20 its probably easier to just reorder a brand new one and recycle this one (BestBuy accepts free drop offs of many common household items for recycling!) I just reordered a replacement set on sale and hope to get 4+ more years of use out of it. If you're looking for a cheap pair of headphones that sound good and will last, these are a great product. The leather-like ear cushion material failed before the actual electronics did. Very pleased and feel confident in reordering a replacement pair for casual use.

Pretty good for the price
iJoy P26 Rechargeable Bluetooth Headphones (because Amazon likes lumping together reviews for similar, but unrelated products) I bought two pairs of these; one for my son and one for me. My son likes to pace around while he listens to music, and I just wanted something for when I don't want to disturb the rest of the household while I'm watching things on Plex. Neither of us is what you would call an audiophile, but we do like our stuff to sound good. I wasn't expecting much, considering the price, and was pleasantly surprised to get sound almost as good as a much more expensive pair of corded headphones I had over 10 years ago. They don't cancel out all background noise, but I wouldn't want them to, since I'm not trying to completely cut myself off from the outside world. They cancel more than enough background noise to prevent most distractions, though. The sound is a lot richer than I expected from such affordable (cheap) headphones -- as long as I select "stereo audio" in the sound settings. Apparently, the "mono audio" is intended for using it as a telephone headset, and it's terrible for listening to music or TV audio. The range is pretty acceptable. We live in a decent-sized house, and these headphones can receive almost from one end to the other. The limit of the range is from my bedroom to the kitchen (well over 30 feet). My phone headset, by comparison, starts to lose the signal before I finish crossing the living room (or at about 20-25 feet). I haven't tested how long the battery lasts, but my son uses his headphones for hours at a time, and the first day we had these, I watched several episodes of NCIS with them, and didn't need to recharge. Also, apparently, these headphones can be used while they're recharging, although the USB cord is a bit too short for that, unless you're sitting right next to your PC or laptop. They also come with a patch cord so you can listen without a bluetooth connection, although (as with the charging cable) it's too short for that unless you're sitting next to the audio source. The headphones also allow you to pick up radio stations, but we live in a rural area, and radio reception is spotty at best without an external antenna, so I haven't tested that. Also, it supposedly has a built-in microphone and can be used as a phone headset, but the only time I use a headset with my phone is when I'm driving -- and headphones like this should NEVER be used while driving, as they block out too many of the background sounds you need to be able to hear. The only complaints I have are minor ones. First, the blue light that shows the headphones are connected and turned on is too bright. It's enough to light up my room at night. It's also bright enough to light up the entire earpiece on lighter-colored models. We've (mostly) solved this with some electrical tape. Secondly, the volume controls are the same buttons that are used to skip forward and back on your media player. You press the button once to skip forward/back, and hold the button to change the volume up or down. As my son points out, there is plenty of room on the earpiece to have separate volume and media skip buttons. TL;DR: My son and I were both pleasantly surprised by the sound quality from such an inexpensive pair of headphones. The volume and skip forward/backward controls should be separate, but that's a minor annoyance. Also, manufacturers should stop using blue LEDs that can be seen from space.

Great headphones for the price!
I have gotten this product several times over the years and while the hinges keep breaking for me that's only after at least a couple months of heavy use and sometimes sleeping with them listening to ASMR type audio. But for only around 20ish bucks as these headphones always seem to have a deal with them, you can not get better headphones at the price. There is a reason why I keep coming back. First is the fact that the sound quality is great, being able to beat out wind noise while on a escooter. Furthermore the range is excellent, and if you need more range I have to question why you are going so far away from your audio source. The battery life is outstanding, only needing to charge it once a day, WITH very heavy use and can easily last a couple days if a normal person uses them additionally the charge is quite fast able to get a an hourish of usage form roughly 20 mins of charges going from a empty battery. Comfort wise, I sometimes sleep with them on so enough said on that front. That being said these headphones have some downsides. The mic is trash, even in the best of conditions people will complain about your mic. The hinges where the headphones fold is a weak spot being the only reason why I have to keep buying news. Admittedly this could also be due to my heavy usage of them and sometimes sleeping on them (At the time of writing this review I bought my 5th one after 10 months of usage and then waking up to the hinge being broken.). But that's it, nothing else after 5 versions of these has broken. I can see them performing for me for a long if the hinge didn't break. Overall, if you don't care about mic quality these are GREAT headphones for the price! Once again for about 20ish (or lower) dollars you won't find better quality of sound! the average lifespan for them is about 10ish months with VERY HEAVY use. But for any other sane user of headphones, I don't doubt this could last you for years.

Perfection!
I am not, what you might call, a sound snob, but I do like my music to have the full spectrum of bass and treble. Also, I listen to books A LOT, so the fact these headphones have an equalizer option is FANTASTIC since listening to music and listening to crisp speaking voices is a huge difference! I have purchased soooo many over the ear headphones, as I have sensitive ears and do not like anything in my ear canal. I have had an extremely hard time finding comfortable, quality, long-lasting, with easy to reach buttons options. You either have to utilize an app, which to me, defeats the purpose, as I use my headphones around the house doing chores, outside gardening and do not want to carry my phone around or use with dirty gloves. These are PERFECTION! All controls needed are within reach, the play time is high, pairing was seemless, and they are comfortable!!!! I haven't used the memory card slot yet, but can't wait to try it! And the PRICE - AMAZING! If you are thinking about these, get them, you won't be disappointed! And 'Thank You' to Ultakiller whose review of these made me take the chance! So Happy :)

Decent product
These are my second headsets ever, so I'll write this review taking that into account, I'll be updating this review over time, the stars this product gets for me are based on what I would normally expect from a product of this price. I had previously bought a pair of headsets for 13 dollars on a local store , if I had to compare them with those, these are my points. Pretty much everything that is not a CON ššš„°. Sound quality: āThe sound quality is pretty decent, I have to remark that I have very little or no experience with headsets, so the sound quality could pretty much be sh1t, and I would have no Idea, my point is that as an everyday user who normally wears 4 dollars headphones which normally last less than a year, the sound quality is pretty decent, specially the bass. Jack 3.5milimiters: ā I honestly wouldn't have bought this product if it wasn't because of its 3.5 millimetres feature, I mean I bought it knowing I'll use them all day long, it's pretty sweet that they included a cable in the box, not the best quality, but it gets the job done. Battery. āI haven't been able to test out the battery life since I don't use them in wireless mode, supposedly they have a battery life of 8 hours Price: -They're cheap, even if you come from a third-word country, they're still cheaper than similar products with similar features that you'll find on your local store. CONS.š„µš„µš„µ Bad quality micro-USB to USB cable. āI don't even know if they are supposed to give you one, considering its price, but let's suppose they do. It was a problem of my unit, but the micro-USB to USB cable that comes in the box was damaged, it didn't work, it was not a problem for me considering that I had one at home, not a big deal though, but I had to mention it. āNoise cancelling? They obviously don't have transparency mode, but I swear to god these are permanently in transparency mode or something. Of course, you don't expect active noise-canceling at this price, but even my previous $13 headsets did a better work. Technically, this is not necessarily a problem, like if you need to listen in order to order something, or listening to what someone is saying, these are great, and I'm not even joking. Now that I think about it, they do ācancelā a little of the noise, but you're only going to notice that at night when everything is quiet, I have a mechanical keyboard with blue switches and I can tell the difference with the headsets on and off. āReally loud. This is by far the worst of this product, or arguably the best. As you can see in the video down below, they might as well had advertised this product as a Bluetooth speaker, and it might've sold even more. āuncomfortable. They're uncomfortable, my ears are not huge, but they hurt after 30 minutes of using this, and the ārubberā band over my head pulls my hair, I put a sheet of paper in between, and it solved that problem, with the ears issue I simply try to put the long part of the ears inside the puff hole, and it reduces the pain for like another 2 hours. Conclusion. Overall, buy them. They're pretty decent (for the price), I sort of like them. In my case I returned them because for me, they were extremely uncomfortable to the point where I don't think it was worth waiting until my ears adapted to them, remember this is a cheap product with features that a cheap product don't normally has, so, whereas I would not consider this a steal, it's worth your money, I mean you actually have no option if you don't want to spend way more.

Love these!!!! Definitely recommend for anyone!
These headphones are the BOMB! Iām the type that reads every review and nerds out before buying something, so I like to share when something is good and worth a buy. I wanted over-the-ear headphones bc my AirPods never fit right in my ears, so thatās why I got these. I would say they are better than expected and definitely worth a buy!! I love them and theyāre better than my more expensive headphones. ⢠I like that the pads feel like a cloud on my ears. I like to fall asleep listening to a sermon (shoutout to God!) or a book on tape and I can comfortably put my head against the pillow with these on. Thereās a blue light that blinks, so if that bothers you, just put a piece of tape over it. ⢠Sound-wise, I like to listen to stuff LOUD and the sound quality is really good. ⢠I also like that the technology is easy to figure out. My other Bluetooth headphones are good, but they are too technical and I canāt figure out how to connect them half the time. So I love that these can easily connect to my phone and laptop and they werenāt technical at all. My dad is technologically-challenged and I would get these for him bc I can teach him how to use them without banging my head against the wall. ⢠Finally, they arenāt heavy. Theyāre a comfy fit and could work for kids or any age. Also, I love that theyāre called IJOY bc we all need some love and JOY in our lives! P.S. Random advice, but maybe thereās someone out there that needs to hear this. Anyway, I read that Jessica Simpson lost over 100 pounds just by walking each day. She started with 6K steps and worked up to 12K. So, if you want to get back in shape, WALKING, just walking, can change your life. Just get moving. Iād suggest maybe these and then search for a smartwatch that counts your steps (or use your phone to count). You can find very affordable, but quality and cheaper smart watches on Amazon that will count your steps for you; itās good to monitor your steps bc it holds you accountable to do the steps. I have a group with my work that shows our steps each day, and it keeps us accountable bc no one wants to look like a loser against their peers. So if you want to create a group with your friends, family, people at work, etc., youāll be more likely to show up. Or, just commit today to changing your life bc you have the power to do it on your own! I know this is a random comment, but with Corona I feel like weāre all in this together and my heart wants everyone to be happy and healthy. Enjoy your headphones if you go with them! Iām only on Day 4, but they are working great and love them! Yay! Sending love and blessings to you whenever you are!
