These lights install easily and are really good for closets or other spaces where you need extra illumination. I like the motion activated function, as there is no fumbling for a switch.These are functional and of good quality

I bought several over 2 years ago and all are still working just as well as when they were new. I ordered again in 2024 and I’m happy to see the same quality product. I like the 3 brightness levels and the options for on, off, or motion activated during day or night. I keep mine on the lowest brightness level with nighttime motion activation and the batteries only need to be charged every few months (depending on use, of course). I’ve tried other similar products over the years and have been disappointed. Yes, these are a bit more expensive than other options, but as long as the manufacturing quality remains the same or improves, they are a worthwhile investment! I lose power every time my neighbor sneezes. While it does take several hours to charge, it's battery life is about a week in a heavily trafficked room.It's not the incandescent warm white we all miss but it's also not blinding white.I don't plan on using the adhesive as I wound the light up into a jar.

When the batteries are new and newish, it's great light in my closet. I open the closet door, it detects the motion and turns on. As the batteries get weaker, I wave my hand so it will turn on. I get tired of replacing batteries. The batteries do last a good while though. I have laid them on the top edge of a board rather than adhering them. I did that so I could adjust the angle better.

Works well. Still on the charges included with shipping. They’ve been in a few months (low traffic areas). The first project was the basement stairs. Black tread covers are new and there are no light fixtures in or near the staircase. Felt like I was stepping in black holes. I wanted secure adhesion and to keep it clean and dry so I bought some LED channel. Had leftover channel so I ordered a smaller strip to make an automatic closet light. I only looped the units to the shelves with picture hanging wire. Gotta figure out a more attractive and permanent installation. As I said, I’m on the original charge. They definitely need more motion to click on as they lose juice. Good buy.

Bought a 2m version. Cut it to length. The sticky side was sticky enough. Installed and added light to my shower. Love the ambient light. It says not to install in humid or wet areas but I took a chance because no water gets in this area and it is well vented. Like the motion detection and it is USB charged. We will see how long it lasts but so far so good.

Adhesive weak and controller keeps falling off wall pulling the tape with it.I saw other reviews stating bad adhesive, but thought maybe the surface it was applied to could be compromised (dirty, old). I was using it on a clean newly painted surface that I let cure for two weeks so the adhesive would not pull paint off if I wanted to take it down. No worries about that!Others mentioned the adhesive coming off the light strip. It's double sided tape where you only pull the paper cover off, the only problem is it's a battle to get it started. I used the point of a single edge razor.It says 3M on the tape but I doubt it is given where it's manufactured.Only have them for two weeks so we'll see how long they last.Update: The adhesive on the lights is now failing, it is placed on a vertical surface. I don't know how it could possibly stick to an under counter application. I ended up stapling the adhesive side of the velcro for the controller to the door frame to keep it in place.

We bought this light strip to go in our large Winchester gun safe. It gives off plenty of light and is perfect with motion activation. Our son installed it and said it was an easy install.
