Retrospec Solana Extra Thick Yoga Mat 1” Non Slip Exercise Mat with Strap

I absolutely love this yoga mat! The color is so vibrant and adorable, and the quality exceeded my expectations! It is incredibly thick, sturdy, and stable, making it extremely comfortable to use. Living in Louisiana, I’ve even joked that this mat is so comfortable I could sleep on it if we ever had to hunker down during a hurricane! 😂 That’s how much cushioning it has! It provides amazing support without feeling flimsy or unstable. Overall, I’m beyond impressed and would absolutely recommend it!

This yoga mat is thick, supportive, and very comfortable for floor exercises. It provides excellent cushioning for my knees and back, and it stays in place during workouts. The included carrying strap makes it easy to transport and store. The material feels durable, is easy to clean, and has a nice non-slip surface. Overall, it’s a great value and perfect for yoga, stretching, or home workouts. Highly recommended!

This is a great mat if you have knee issues or have trouble lying on your side during yoga or Pilates classes. It’s much much more cushioned than regular mats. Its thickness makes it a little cumbersome once it’s rolled up, but it’s worth it.

I do love how thick this yoga mat is. However, I found the material is very easily damaged. Not a huge deal if you will be using inside primarily and have no pets around. My dog walked on it and was able to pierce through the foam leaving a whole. I still use it was I wish it was better quality. It did also come without the strap shown but reaching out to the company resolved that quickly. That got a strap in the mail to be within the week. It is soft and nice to use for my workouts. Very supportive and slip resistant. Just wish it was a slightly better quality for my money.

Man this thing is top tier! My knees appreciate this mat so much! Now when I’m trying to do something where I need my balance I do have to stand on the bare floor but in kneeling positions or sitting positions this is my go to. At 45 with bad knees this makes practice so much easier

As someone with bad knees, finding a yoga mat that doesn’t leave me wincing in pain has been a struggle—until I got the Retrospec Solana 1" Thick Yoga Mat with Nylon Strap. Priced around $30-40, this mat has transformed my yoga practice and workouts, offering incredible cushioning and portability. After weeks of using it for yoga classes and home exercises, it’s hands-down the best mat I’ve ever owned. If you need joint-friendly support and a reliable mat, this is it! What I Love: Unmatched Knee Protection: The 1-inch thick high-density foam is a lifesaver for my bad knees. Unlike thinner mats that left me sore, this one provides plush, supportive cushioning for poses like Child’s Pose or planks, making yoga and workouts pain-free and enjoyable. Perfect Size and Portability: At 72" x 24", it’s the standard yoga mat size but with extra thickness for comfort. The included nylon strap makes it a breeze to roll up tightly and carry to classes or store at home—no bulky bags needed. It’s lightweight enough to tote around without strain. Easy to Clean and Maintain: The non-slip surface wipes down effortlessly with a damp cloth or mild soap, staying fresh even after sweaty sessions. No lingering odors or stickiness, which is a huge plus for regular use. Sturdy and Non-Slip: The textured surface grips the floor well, keeping me stable during dynamic flows. It’s thick but doesn’t feel spongy or wobbly, balancing comfort and firmness perfectly. Any Downsides? Honestly, I haven’t found any yet! The mat is a bit heavier than standard thin mats due to the extra cushioning (about 3.5 lbs), but the strap makes carrying it manageable. I’d love to see how the nylon strap holds up after years of use, but so far, it’s solid. Final Verdict: The Retrospec Solana 1" Thick Yoga Mat is a dream come true for anyone with joint issues or those wanting extra comfort during workouts. Its plush cushioning, non-slip grip, and easy-to-carry design make it perfect for yoga classes, home exercises, or even stretching sessions. For the price, it’s an incredible value that’s made my practice more enjoyable and pain-free. I got it in teal, and it looks as good as it performs! Highly recommend for yogis, beginners, or anyone needing a supportive, durable mat.

This mat is great! Everyone else in the class is doubling their mats and laying blankets on them, etc. Not me. This mat keeps my knees and hands comfortable throughout the yoga session!

Good quality and good size. It meets the cushion level I was expecting. No strap included though. There was a piece of thin plastic wrapped around it but nothing that I would associate with a carrying strap. Definitely not the strap shown in the product pictures. The materials inside the packaging asked to contact support for questions and wait 3 days which I did but I never heard back. If I wasn't so happy with the mat, the score would have been lower for the support service.
