Inexpensive but sturdy
The stand was easy to put together and provides good support for my 17.3 inch laptop, very happy.

Looks nice, very good height for sofa, not hard to put together
It does what I want it to do, which is to simply hold a book at a good angle on one side of me, while I type on my laptop (on my lap). I'm not using it to hold my laptop. The device seems just a little rickety or wobbly, but not like it's going to fall over or anything. I did try it with my laptop and it works like that, but I like having my laptop in my lap, and using the table for a book I am reading and citing from. I can pile a few books on the other side ("mouse pad").What you get: a lot of little things in plastic bags, along with three metal frame parts, and two wooden desk parts. Comes with the two tools you need to put it together (hex & wrench). It took some mental work to put all the parts together. Not hard, really, but you do have to keep track of all the pieces. Took me around 20 minutes.I was thinking of ordering the "Techni Mobili" one, but it's 3 inches taller at its lowest setting, so that was a no-go. I wanted something that would be at reading level when I'm sitting on the sofa. There were two problems: (A) one of the plastic "bumpers" on the base was busted up into several pieces upon delivery. (B) one of the cross-bars that go under the "mouse pad" part was a little warped, and when I screwed it onto the wooden "mouse pad" part, it stripped the screw hole. It still holds okay, but it was a flaw in the product (bent metal piece). The company says to contact them by email, so I will do that and see if either of these problems can be fixed. Maybe they can send me spare parts. The unit looks very nice. It rolls around okay. I can use it for what I needed it for. It wasn't too expensive. It would probably make a good bed table for anyone who likes to use their laptop in bed (so long as you sit close to the edge of the mattress). It is a very good height for those who like to sit on a sofa with their laptop. When I rotate the main table part, I can still cross my legs underneath the table, and it puts the laptop screen at eye level. I originally thought I would order the Techni Mobili because the name sounds nifty, but then I noticed that the height is three inches taller at its lowest setting, so that doesn't work on a sofa. Also, the One Space model has a better design for the base (5 wheels) that makes it a little sturdier. It looks kind of formidable coming out of the box, with all those little pieces, but if an old lady like me can put it together, then anybody can.BTW, I'm ordering some velcro straps to hold my open book in position on the desktop. Will report on these later.Velcro straps: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01I8VCSK2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Just to add, because some people reported it wouldn't go under their sofa: the distance from floor to top of the "base" = a little over 2 3/4 inches, or 7 centimeters. Also - the unit comes with some kind of plastic deal that you can put over the base where the screws hold it together (to hide the screws), but I didn't put than on it. I think it looks better without it, and if you do put it on, just know that it will raise the base another half inch. It's really not needed, and I think it looks better without it.

I would not recommend
It would have been easy to put together but the material was so cheap. Their were nylon inserts in the screw holes that were coming out. The holes were hard to line up, and the directions were very close to being good, but left some things unexplained. The first picture is all the extra parts, which was confusing because they had sealed parts clearly marked extra also. The second picture is a screw and the padded end piece that holds your laptop on, this is the only part that comes pre-assembled the screw was hanging out and as you can see it must go through the wood of the tabletop and into the pad, the screw is clearly not long enough. The table top seems sturdy enough. The threading is cheap plastic inserts and very small. I have had this 26 days and today the mouse table came off. I would categorize this in the "you get what you paid for" category.

A Great Product At A Great Price
I needed a laptop table for my guest room. One was found at a store that specializes in “Containers,” organizing closets, and kitchens. But it cost almost $300! It was very snazzy and techie but oh-my-gosh $300??!! Then I found this item on Amazon and thought, "What the heck. The price is right." So, I ordered it. It came in a flat box with some assembly required. As it was being assembled, a problem was discovered. Look at the photo. See the bottom piece that has the five wheels on it? Four wheels make up a square and the fifth wheel is on the end. Well the metal piece into which the wheels attach arrived with the hole for the fifth wheel stamped on the top, not the bottom! I thought, "Oh no.... I'm going to have to return this whole thing just to get this mess fixed." But customer service was wonderful. I emailed them the problem being sure to include a photo of how the piece had been punched incorrectly. It was only a few days before a new part arrived (no request for the bad piece to be returned), and in probably 30 minutes the table was assembled. The laptop table has worked wonderfully. Guests have appreciated how far it slips under the bed so they can use it while lounging. It also works well with the comfy chair in the same room. They’ve commented on how nice it is that there is a shelf that remains stationary while the rest of it can be tilted to hold their laptops at an angle they prefer. All in all, this has been a perfect addition to my guest room AND I saved almost $250.

This table is great as a laptop desk for me anywhere I want ...
This table is great as a laptop desk for me anywhere I want to work - in the living room, out on the porch. It has a ledge on either side of the main area, and is adjustable for the angle, while the smaller section remains stationary and is where I use my mouse. This is the second one that I purchased as I gave my first one to my nephew when he had to have surgery on his foot. That was originally why I got my first one. It is well made, easy to assemble and rolls very well on carpeting. It also has the ability to lock the wheels so that it will remain stationary if need be. It does a great job at a very reasonable price.

kinda flimsy, but functional
Assembly was straightforward and didn't take long, but the table itself is on the flimsy side. Height adjustments are slow, since you have to loosen two knobs and manually raise or lower the table. If you want it flat on the floor without using the included castor wheels, the screws attaching the post will stick out too far from the base piece, making it wobbly (and will scratch any wood floors. Other options are nicer, for an appropriately higher price, but this one is an ok value.
