Works as advertised
. I’ve seen some negative reviews for this product But , if you FOLLOW the SIMPLE directions then you should be good. For systems under pressure you should relieve the pressure before you start the process. Rough the entire area with a file or wire brush then lightly sand before degreasing. Make sure all debris and dust are cleared, mix the putty VERY WELL. You will feel it getting warm, then apply. Wait about an hour or two before reintroducing pressure.Edit to add: check the bottom of the product for the silver disc that has the manufacturing date. The product is good up to 2 years after manufacture date. Example, my tube has 5093, that translates to, being made on the 93rd day of 2025.

Great product to seal a leak.
I noticed that I had a leak inside my car on the windshield frame. I used this once I was sure it was dry and this was so easy to use. After you put it on you leave it to harden. I live where it rains a lot and ever since I put this on that section has never leaked.

Did the job
I’ve purchased twice now. I can’t remember what specifically we needed it for but I think it was a fridge filter situation because I remember wanting something that is drinking water safe. I think we used it on a leaking sump pump pipe too, but ending up needing a new tunnel dug anyway. This time around, I just needed some sort of underwater glue for a hot tub headrest. Needed something that can handle water some heat and won’t get messy with pipes chemicalsIs a little tricky to use. Didn’t come out as perfectly smooth or flat as hoped but seems to hold well. I wasn’t concerned with appearance

Follow the directions
I used Water Weld to fix a leak in a fresh water tank on a travel trailer. I followed the directions by sanding to rough up the area and then using rubbing alcohol to clean the area. Worked great!! No leak.....I'm happy

Good stuff
I used this to repair an electrical connector on top of a fuel pump, which means it's exposed to gasoline and vapors. I have a cured chunk soaking in gasoline for several months now and it seems to be doing fine.

Terrible and too soft, doesn't stick
Completely worthless. It's way too soft. It doesn't cure in 25m at all. It is a one stage epoxy, so when kneading it, it just got softer and softer. Then when applied to the pipe it just fell off because it was too soft.2 hours later, it is still soft, but water is dripping everywhere. I turned off the water, but it still has slight drips, but they all just build up behind it and it falls off. Thus stuff is completely worthless. I'm hoping Amazon will give me my money back. I used the whole tude on a tiny tiny leak, hoping that if I just keep stacking it up, it will work, yeah, no. I'm afraid to turn my water back on. It's been 2 hours and it's still soft. I'll wait till tomorrow, but honestly, I think it's going to be worse. And fyi, it was a pinhole leak.I've now purchased some silicone tape, which i will try to put over this small leak... ugh.

Works Good
Used to repair a small (pin) hole in my radiator. It worked great. Saved me from buying a new radiator for now.
