Weird packaging
Not sure how to feel about the packaging but, good soap nonetheless. Not crazy about the false advertising though. Makes me wonder what warehouse these came from

It’s dial
I use Dove for daily needs because it’s gentle. But, there is nothing like Dial for antibacterial assurances. I keep this on hand for showering after my clinical rotations, and for when someone gets a new tattoo in the house.

Horrible overpowering, irritatating levels of perfume
I grew up using Dial gold in the '70's and '80's and always liked the scent. It was reliably always the same. I don't know what happened in the intervening years, but the "2 pack" that I was sent (which was actually two individual bars and not a pack) gave off such an overwhelmingly strong scent when I took them out of the mailing envelope that I was left gagging and itching from the allergic intensity. The bars felt concave in the middle, which was never the case before, in my experience. The packaging said they were made in Colombia - perhaps they have different perfume formulas at their factories there, or perhaps the factory mistakenly used about five times the normal amount of perfume in this batch? Or maybe these are counterfeit? I repackaged the two bars for return immediately because they are giving off such strongly irritatating fumes. I can't get the stench out of my room - it smells as though someone poured an entire bottle of cheap men's cologne onto my carpet. I hope I can find the original American style Dial at a brick and mortar store. I won't be buying soap online again!
