Bad quality thread & unclear instructions
As a total beginner, some of the instructions were very unclear to me. And the thread was a nightmare- one piece would fray into about 16 at the end and make it impossible to thread through the needle. I ended up pulling some of the strands apart to finally get a bit through. The design is pretty, and I suppose it's what you pay for, but I wouldn't reccommend this to someone with 0 experience.

Brilliant starter kit
I bought this kit to make up to give as a gift for my nan. It was the first time I'd done one of these and I really enjoyed doing it. The instructions are brilliant, all of the threads are colour coded on the picture side of the instructions and on the reverse it gives you instructions on each stitch you will need.You can also afford to deviate from the colours which are on the pattern as you have loads of each cotton left over so you can make it unique.I do agree with other reviews that the needles maybe could be better as 2 out of the 3 needles that were provided did bend but for the price of the kit you can't really complain.This is a fab kit which was easy enough for a beginner and it looks lovely when finished, I would definitely recommend.

Bought for a gift. Would have returned it but wasn't time.The kit was OK but the needle threader was missing. Had to buy one from a shop.Disappointed

Not the easiest
I think for this you would need to have a little bit of prior experience with embroidery. Although it came with instructions the design is small with intricate details making it a bit tricky. Is a lovely image and provides all the materials needed however takes a lot of patience if a complete beginner. The screw on the ring was also not sufficient so the canvas had to be secured in the ring by using an elastic band to hold it together.

Pretty roses
Lovely project to embroider however does take a while with the different colours and stitches. The backing is also harder than previous projects i have done embroidery on. However the end result is as pictured and I gifted it to my best friend who has had a little baby recently and it was well received. Thank you

Excellent value
I started this a few nights ago and can't put it down. This is my first embroidery and I'm really enjoying it. Instructions are good, pattern is really helpful and the scissors and needle threader included are really handy.The thread is possibly not the best quality as it does tend to knot and is difficult to pull apart. However, there is plenty of thread included so even with snipping some knots away I have plenty.Would recommend for beginners and I will be purchasing another pattern.
