A Mixed Bag: Not Awful, Not Great
the good: these flashlights are very affordable and seem to be well made of machined aluminum. they also seem to be sealed adequately from moisture... although i did not test how well. they are larger than many other weapon mountable lights... likely because they have built in charging circuitry... which is very handy... no need to pull the battery to charge it, just plug in a usb-c cable to chargethe bad: the included batteries are just garbage... you'll definitely need to replace them within a few months. the weapon mounts are also garbage with sharp edges that will cut your hands. and finally, the external charger they include is also garbage.it's important to note that there is no rapid charge capability either built into the flashlights or from the external charger... even these insufficient 18650's will take literal DAYS to charge if depleted. finally the relative benefit of the built-in charging circuitry may itself be a negative for a light that is mounted to a high recoil weapon such as a shotgun, as the charging circuitry will likely add a layer of complexity that makes the lights vulnerable to failure under stress.all that said, as a basic flashlight for walking the dog at night, or roadside safety these lights are very nice very bright LED flashlights... certainly much much more capable than the old incandescent mag-lights from the 80's and 90's that took 5 pounds of D cell batteries to power them.
