Works Well, but the price ...
THE LITTERI love that this litter makes my bathroom smell better. I can remove the clumps usually pretty easily, though they do stick to the pan or liner. If you use the pan without a liner, the product will adhere to the box, and takes a lot of work to get it out. I do not recommend using this without a liner. Though I don't end up with a smelly slushy box by the end of a month, I am going through more litter than I did before, and now they are raising the prices. I have used 3 bags already since I ordered them. I purchased 1 bag from another source on May 21st, and two more bags on May 25 because you have to replenish the amount scooped out in clumps.I rated 4 instead of 5 on the "easy to clean" category, because you HAVE to use a liner if you want it to be easier to clean. If your cat's nails are sharp and go through the liner, you may have to deal with some of the silica and urine getting underneath onto the Box itself and getting stuck there. In that case, you will still have to deal with some scraping and may need to remove the liner with the clean litter in it first to do it. Still , it wasn't that bad. It happened to me, and I just carefully lifted the liner with the clean litter in it, set it to the side to clean the box, and then replaced the torn liner, carefully lifted the prev one that had clean litter in it, and poured it into the new liner. You NEED to scoop it every day. For me, it's multiple times a day. How clean the box is seems to help cut down on how much of it ends up outside the box. Cat's don't like going in dirty boxes. Forcing them to do that will produce more mess, because they will try to stand on the edges of the box, or have to dig more, etc.I do generally have to sweep in front of and at the sides of the box, but at least I am not stepping on sharp pieces of crystal every time I go into the bathroom (the only place we have where keeping a box makes any sense.)THE PRICEI previously paid $28 for two 8 lb bags of litter for ONE cat every month using a name brand larger crystal litter for $16 lbs and I already thought that was steep. Now I have to use 10 lbs of the finer scoopable one every two weeks, and the price just bumped up to $11 for 5 lbs. At this rate I will be spending $44 dollars a month on litter alone! So I do like the litter better than what I used to use, but I hate the price. I worked out how much per pound this litter is compared to the already expensive one I was using before. Keep in mind I have to use more of this one too. The expensive name brand litter I was using costs about $1.75 per pound. This litter is $2.20per pound. I think the price stinks, especially since I have to use twice as much per month as the other litter. Not happy at all with the price. Silica is Silica. I already thought the $1.75 a pound was too much, as I have to use TWO bags for one cat per month. The line that one bag lasts a month with one cat is just not true. Also, their instructions to dump the whole box of litter every month? NO WAY, especially not at these prices! The litter stays very clean when you can scoop out the large clumps and any small wet bits that clump together. There is no reason to dump it all out after a month other than for them to make more money.

Good litter
It’s excellent litter except that my cat tracks it all over the house. It is soft on their feet, easy scooping, good odor control. I like the color. I hate dark litters. It doesn’t stick to the scoop.

Good litter option
This cat litter is great. It is easy to scoop and keeps the smell controlled for days (for one cat). It absorbs really well and the color makes it easy to see where you need to scoop. It is fairly affordable. We use one and a half bags at first in our extra large cat box, and add the other half in mid month to freshen a bit. The only thing I would say is the texture is small so the cat tracks some of it out, more so than other large textured litters. Overall though, good product.

Clumps a little too well, kind of messy, but otherwise as described
This clumping litter does a great job clumping, however, it clumps so well that it literally glues clumps to the bottom of my cat box. While it is much easier to sift clumps in my sifting cat box, this loses a star because I lose out on the ease of changing the litter box as I have to scrape and scrape and then use an old spoon to force the glued on litter thru the sifting box.It also is supposed to reduce mess from the cat tracking litter from the box, but due to the small granular shape and weight of the clumping litter, I have noticed an increase in tracked litter, not a decrease as claimed-another star off for this because reducing tracked litter was a reason I switched litters, and this did not live up to that claim, and in fact made it worse. It does reduce odor better than the regular clay clumping litter I used to use, but I can't say the reduction in odor is completely credited to the litter because I changed to a cat box with a lid and door that has odor filters on the top at the same time. The cat box used to have a strong odor very soon after changing due to the small size of my home, and now there is virtually no smell, even after having this same litter in the box for weeks. The reason I believe that the litter is partially responsible for this is because when I clean the closet from the box I do not notice a strong odor with the top off the litter box so the litter is helping control the odor much better than the clay I used previously. Having to get clumps removed before this litter was an unpleasant task, and odor was stronger for sure.I don't think I will buy this litter again, due to the difficulty of removing glued on crusty litter and increase in tracking litter, but would but this over regular clay if I didn't find something that works better than this litter. It is definitely better than the clay type, but needs improvement.

You could construct a building with this concrete!
I love the regular micro crystal litter, so I tried a bag of this when it was on sale. Terrible idea. We have multiple litter boxes throughout the house and I scoop them about once a week. With the regular crystals, this schedule works just fine. The clumping litter, however, had turned into a solid block of concrete in the litter box within that one week. There was no scooping and stirring. The litter was just one giant clump that I practically had to chisel out to get it out of the box. So much for one bag for one month. Unless you scoop your litter box right after your cat pees, this product will be a huge waste of litter for you. Would not recommend or buy again. Will stick to the micro crystals from now on.
