It makes both. We drink the long pour (double) like regular American coffee and use the short pour for espresso and espresso drinks.

Remove the agitator/protector from the inside of the coffee bean hopper. In Europe it doesn’t come with one, that’s just an American “safety” feature. Works flawlessly since I did.

Does this have a bypass that lets you use pre-ground espresso?
