FirsTime & Co. Bronze Carlisle Gears Clock, American Designed, Bronze, 27 x 2 x 27 inches (31187)

I was looking for a big clock to fit a big wall. This one caught my eye because of the rustic, but not too-rustic look, the price, and size. I was also looking for non-Roman numerals, easy to read face and hands, and something easy to hang.So far, this clock has fit all my needs nicely. It was well packaged and arrived with no damage. It came with an extra set of hands. It's lightweight for the size, so it was easy for me to hang. It has kept good time. And I like the way it looks on the wall.

Nice display clock

I have what I would describe as more of a rustic feeling within my home and this was a great addition! I've had this now for over a couple of years, at least, and yet to have a single issue with the clock. It's easy to set, comes with two different colors of arms, functions properly, etc.. You get what you expect when purchasing this clock!

I wanted to review this product because we agonzingly reserarched 100's of clocks and settled on this one becuase of the price, size (27"), and look. We read the reviews -- they were generally not favorable. Many people wrote that the clock mechanism didn't work from the start, no instructions (do you really need them?), unit was damaged, etc. So we figured it was hit or miss. We took a chance and it turned out great. Looks great on the wall, clock works perfectly fine (no time slippage, not even a second, after the first day), winning! We would have given it 5 stars except we bought a known Used unit, so it had some marks on the face. But we were able to cover them up easily (the clock has an intentional weathered/worn look to it so it was easy). Very happy with this closk (at least on day 1).

Such fine quality fits perfectly. This company was so very nice to work with. The clock came quickly, Fits perfectly, the fact that I have two sets of clock arms is amazing. It came with a different set of a different color attached to the back of this clock. We are very delighted. I also should mention it was a very, very good value item for the price. Thank You.

Really like the design, exposed clock face (no glass), perfect size for us. Only wish the tip of dial hands had a darker or brighter more noticeable color to be able to read the time. The gold color is nice however when viewing it from a distance you can not really see the dial hands, so this could be improved. Everything else is great with the clock. We will paint the tip of the dial hands to a color we can spot quickly.

I wanted a fun clock with a vintage look. I get a lot of compliments on this one. So far, it keeps time well, is quiet, certainly easy to read. I wouldn’t have wanted to pay any more for a clock for my particular situation, so this one works well for me. Would buy again.

It's really cheap feeling. The plastic fake gears protrude far out the front of the clock, so if you are at any side ange at all, it will be hard to read what time it is (the hands are almost two inches out from the clock face). Also, if it's not in great lighting it will be hard to see the hands. They blend in too much with the gears and clock face. I painted the hands white, so it's easy to read now. It looks OK, but it doesn't compare to my last clock. The style is kinda there, but it just looks like a low class clock that wishes it looked class. I wish I would've not bought it. I could've bought something much nicer for a little more money. That's the gamble we take buying without seeing it in person. Hopefully my review will convince you to not make my mistake.
