This is a unique polish. I didn't realize that when they said satin they meant matte. Basically this is a bubble gum pink polish with tons of microglitter. It dries to a completely matte finish. The result is a little strange. It's glittery but still flat. The color itself is very pretty, but I would like it much better if it had a little more shine to it. I am going to try a clear topcoat to see if that makes it a little better.

This is a matte polish, and I prefer the very, very glossy polishes. I wasn't aware that "satin" meant "matte," though now that I am, I won't be purchasing any more "satin" polishes. Sally Hansen is a good brand, however, and the polish is a good polish, if you're into that color and the glitter (the glitter is the "shimmery" part). I do love pink polishes, but as I said, I prefer the very glossy pink polishes, and I like them a little less intense than this one is. As another reviewer has already stated, this is more of a bubblegum pink than a pastel or a rose or a beige or a nude or any other word that could precede pink. It does go on nicely (I use a base coat), and due to the intense pink, I found one coat is all I needed. The bubblegum pink, however, made me think this polish is more suited to a young or teenage girl than a grown woman past the age of thirty as I am. I use a top coat, and I do have to say, my polish didn't chip. It lasted all week; after seven days of wear, it still looked perfect. I did try it out for synagogue services with a begonia pink donegal sweater and black slacks, and I have to say, because of the intense color and the glitter, I felt quite conspicuous. I think I'll give the rest of the bottle away to my young niece, who is fanatic about pink. Any pink, but the pinker the better, and this polish is really, really pink! There's nothing wrong with the polish per se. It's just that it's being marketed to adults, and it really doesn't look like something most adults would use.

Did not like this color. Love Sally Hansen products but do not like this - did not look good on. It is not very shimmery either.

I've tried some bad nail polishes in my life, but this is one of the worst. Be aware that what they call "Satin Glam" is really dull and dreary. It honestly looks like I painted my nails with school glue that has a bit of color and some shimmer. I bought two shades from this product line and both are going in the trash after one use.

Love them
