Great product for the gopro enthusiast
This works perfectly with other railblaza products to allow you to mount your gopro in whatever starport base system you have. I use it with the starport base mounted on the front of my kayak, and it is the perfect height to have photos just off the water with none of the kayak in the shot. I have also used it with the trac mount base, and it was also a secure fit. It uses the same attachment system as other gopro mounts, so it is very secure. I have had no issues with the camera becoming loose or detached.

I wish it came with one of the pole extenders but it is absolutely the perfect amount for my kayak when I am out and about...

Dont trust the lock
Lost my gopro the first time I was dumped in the surf. I assumed I did not have the lock on the railblaza boom secured. Bought a new go pro and railblaza mount kit. Fortunately the next time out in the gulf I had the camera on my chest mount, but still had the mount kit on the boom. Got dumped in the surf again and guess what? The new mount kit was gone even though I had checked that it was securely attached. They come loose. Find another solution.

Bought this product to mount my GoPro on the front of my personal watercraft..works well..it’s a quality product and can be mounted anywhere with the Railblaza mounts
