Williams 30028 1/4-Inch Drive Locking Extension Bar, 24-Inch

Ordered this thinking it was a set the picture shows a set only came with one after ordering them found out it was only one so they need to show one instead of a set my fault for not reading the article

Tool appears to be well made. Release button for socket is a nice feature.

remember this is for 1 24" bar, the picture is very deceptive, it shows 3 and not just 1. The bar has the name inked on but the quality seems good enough at this price point. It held some of my worn sockets with lock pin hole very good, i am happy with them, the review would be all stars except for the picture deception.

perfect length for the hard to reach areas. works well, Disappointed not made in the USA but nice all the same. Missed 5 stars by being made in Taiwan, but I can live with it. Still a very good buy and addition to my 1/4 drive tools.

This is another example of using a "Trademark Name" with a reputation of excellent design and useful quality, and substituting a lesser type similar item. There are NO knurling areas on the extension - except for the ring at the end. The "locking part" of the extension is not as robust as other Trademark Brands. This item is manufactured in Taiwan - known for very high manufacturing standards. IMO, the Taiwan manufacturer probably suggested "grip knurling areas" - but the Retail Seller went the lowest possible cost route. A spare extension, but definitely not a "go-to" first choice extension.

Hold up really well. Locking extensions it’s self on the head has a sleek ball point that ticks in perfectly in the sockets. Really good tool for the money. Using it professionally and it’s been about 3 months. Been holding up really well even when I’m using a 3/8” electric ratchet on it. Highly recommend.

I purchased the Williams 24" long 1/4' drive locking extension. I received it in a clear plastic bag packed inside a brown shipping box.The extension appears high quality. The bag is marked with the Williams part number, country of origin, description and bar code.I found laser etching with the Williams name and part number toward the male end of this. The locking ring does have cross knurling on the locking collar. Will save time when I use this with a universal joint and socket on cable clamps and electronic module fasteners inside the engine bay.

It is very beefy. Little worried about the length and twisting but it is very robust. Happy with the product. Not so happy with shipping and communication. My package got lost adding only one email until it arrived two weeks late. Could have used an additional update.
