Terrible quality, I'd give this zero stars if it was possible, I feel completely ripped off. On first look I wanted to return it as it is such an inferior product, but as I wont be going to the post office anytime soon I thought I'd take one for the team and try it out just to review here.In summary:- the paper is similar to what you might find in a very cheap colouring book. It is very thin, a kind of dirty white, and feels horrible to touch.- the paper is creased in places, cut badly at the edges so there are jagged broken bits, and the book sent to me may have been stored somewhere damp as every single page has a ripple effect texture down it.- the paper works poorly with everything I tried on it. Forget markers and watercolours - this paper can't even handle Crayola Supertips. Pencils look weak on it and everything else goes through to the reverse, so it will be impossible to use both sides of a page. It crumples at even a hint of moisture.- the sales blurb says the book has 160 pages. What they mean is "160 sides" as there are only 80 pages/leaves altogether, so this is a very slim notebook. The pages of an A5 Leuchtturm1917 (80gsm) measure 13mm thick altogether (not including covers). The pages of this book (70gsm according to the blurb) are approximately half that size, measuring 7mm thick altogether (not including covers). I'm not sure I believe that this paper is actually 70gsm.- the pen loop fastening creates a lump in the back edge of the book which is 3mm tall. This means a good section of the pages (approximately 2cm in circumference on the centre right) can't really be drawn on without having to go over this lump.- the front and back covers are a smooth feeling texture which seems nice enough but one of the corners was badly damaged, suggesting it isnt of sturdy quality. I've just lightly pressed a fingernail into it and I can see the dent will be permanent - the cover isn't going to hold up well to being carried about in a bag.- the ribbon is a horrible cheap plasticky thing. It is similar to the stuff you use to wrap presents with, the stuff that if you pull a knife down it will curl up (if you've ever done that). Mine has crisp folds in it from where it has been trapped inside the book, which will be permanent. This is not a proper piece of ribbon but an unpleasant cheap substitute.I would not recommend this book to anyone, at any price. Even the cheapest printer paper is better quality than this, and a quality notebook like a Leuchtturm only costs a few pounds extra for a larger quantity of better quality pages.

Bought notebook as like to sometimes use an unlined notebook.Notebook is great price and if you are looking to make notes then its greatColour was great and quality of book was very good,I like the pen loop as never have a pen with me whenever I make notes.I did notice a few reviews from people who thought this is a sketch/drawing book for painting etc and if thats what you want then maybe best to spend a little more and buy a sketch book...if you want a notebook for notes then book is great for this.I attached a couple of pics to show the show through from a ball pen..basically appears about Pukka pad standard so good for me

How anyone has given this product 5 starts just baffles me.The cover is alright and the colour is vivid but it doesn't feel very sturdy. I'm not sure it would stand up to much use.The paper is more like tracing paper and is far too thing to be of any use to anyone. You can see on my images that writing on one page transfers to the next couple of pages as well. The paper also has a really cheap shiny feel.Pretty devastated about the quality as the price isn't even that cheap for a notebook.Another poor quality product on Amazon! I'll be off to the local shops to get a replacement.

Lovely colour, decent (not top) quality pages. A good little note book. Has a ribbon place marker and an elastic loop for a pen.Came in a cardboard sleeve so eco friendly.

The paper is very very thin and the wrong colour was sent. Other than that it's OK if you reinforce the paper

Looks nice. Nice cover. Nice colour. Paper inside was disappointing. Very thin and very white. Shame as I’d have bought more but won’t be buying again I’m afraid.

I really like these books. They're well made and come without plastic packaging, they're nice to write in and I'd buy them again.
