Had many issues to resolve on a 2008 impreza and this book was very helpful (along with some YouTube). Loved having the torque specs on all the various parts being replaced giving confidence the job was done correctly.

Haynes produce their manuals by actually stripping down and re-building vehicles. This means that any problems you might face are realistically dealt with in the books.This one for the range of Subaru Impreza models can be a little bit vague on certain details, but Haynes do their best to cover all the variations, WRX, STI, GX etc etcI have since sold the car and passed the manual on to the new owner, who, I suspect, will have difficulty in even figuring out how to open the bonnet, never mind doing minor work on the engine.Ah well, at least it helped me with a couple of minor jobs.
