Brabantia Ironing Board B, Ice Water, 124 x 38 cm

The ironing board arrived well packed to prevent it from dents. I had decided to go for a more expensive board this time and consider it to be money well spent.It’s solid and sturdy with an iron stand that I’ve never seen or had before. Unlike previous ironing boards I’ve had this stand allows you to rest the iron almost upright instead of flat on the board. Just goes to show how long since I bought a new one. The ironing board also has an ample surface to allow for quick and easy ironing.All in all am pleased with the Brabantia ironing board.

I never thought I'd say this but this Ironing Board almost makes Ironing a pleasure and that's coming from a man. I invested in the Brabantia Flex Guide as well. Many years ago I bought a cheap Ironing Board with the wire mesh and it put me right off this type of ironing board, so I struggled on with a tiny old board.This Ironing Board is really well made, no wobbly legs as in one other poor review. A good solid mesh top with a nice thick foam cover which I thought may hamper ironing. I was wrong, it actually makes it's easier. It is fairly heavy. Good height adjustment. It has a large working surface, so hooray, trousers fit on in one go and tops don't have to be continually moved. I also thought that trouser tops wouldn't fit over end but the width is just right.So all in all well done Brabantia. I also got it £10 cheaper than Argos buying on Amazon...

A high quality ironing board that makes ironing ironing loads easier and feels very study. Its width means that shirts can be ironed loads faster. I was quite surprised by how high the ironing board can stand up to which can be useful for detailed ironing when sewing/tailoring.The fabric on the board is excellent and reflects the heat really well to make for easier ironing.However an annoying feature is that the iron stand must be set up as either left or right handed and being the left handed one in the house means switching the clip on frame each time I want to use it. Also there were small scratches and signs of rust on the frame upon arrival.All in all - despite the pitfalls the board definitely makes ironing feel less like a chore.

Having read some of the reviews about the ironing board being unstable and then customers being charged to return the faulty item I was reticent about ordering it. I did call customer services first to question why customers had been charged to return faulty items. I was assured that this should definitely not have been the case - if any item is faulty then Amazon will absorb any costs in returning it. The person I spoke to explained that, with bulky items, sometimes the customer does have to pay in advance for a courier to collect and return it but that Amazon will refund these costs. So with that assurance I went ahead and ordered the item.It arrived today and I have just completed a stack of ironing. Very satisfied with it. The board is strong and sturdy, and what I particularly like is that you can extend it to a good height. As I am just over 6 feet tall I have normally ended up with backache using previous ironing boards but this one didn't cause that at all. Very happy with my new purchase.

Being one of the few who doesn't actually mind ironing, I thought I'd treat myself to an upgrade on my old board and am very happy with this. It is very solid and goes very high (approx 96cm at full stretch) which is great for taller people like myself and will definitely help to reduce back strain. I like the blue denim finish and it's a perfect surface to iron on, not too hard or soft and the extra width speeds things up with large items like duvet covers etc. too. There is a springy lever on the plate but I don't really use that to be honest.Note the B size 124cm x 38cm refers to the ironing surface only, when folded the end to end (leg to leg) length is about 160cm.Very happy with this, sometimes you don't "get what you pay for" with branded items but not in this case 👍🙂

Got this on offer, but would say it's worth the typical price. Although I believe in 'buy cheap, buy twice', the pragmatist in me struggles on just how bad the cheapest ironing board from Argos can be, not really their fault - but maybe someone should refuse to sell people ironing boards for £15, cos it's just a poofest of swearing and tears. This board is totally stable and has a cover that stays on the board without being sewn on (don't ask), the cover and the liner underneath make a firm yet slightly soft surface for ironing shirts that's totally not like ironing on a duvet.Pro Tips for Men: This is the most manly pattern of cover. The B series (this size) is the best for shirts and trousers. Sewing a cheap cover onto a mesh ironing board looks like some scary tufted mattress and takes hours, totally not worth the price difference between this and the cheapest board available.

This is an excellent ironing board, I was a bit put off at the price but it is well worth the money spent!It is a strong sturdy ironing board, and it has a great height on it so even if you are over 6 feet tall you should have no problems using this ironing board.The cover of the ironing board is of top quality and has a number of features to help keep it secure and in place when ironing, so no more cover slipping off whilst you do the ironing!It is easy to put up and put away once finished with and has clips on the underside to keep the legs secure once stowed away.All in all this is a great ironing board and well worth the money spent on it.

This is a combi review, partly from me because I unwrapped it and partly from my wife who got to use it first. This item is constructed of sturdy stuff yet remains easy to carry and has a high gloss quality paint finish. We decided to spend a little more than usual on this board as our previous ones seemed to be too flimsy for the job and we probably spent more on replacement covers than was necessary. The first thing I noticed about the Brabantia was the lack of packing material around the board to prevent any damage in transit. It was simply shrunk wrapped in strong polythene, with the legs exposed and therefore I wasn't surprised to hear that some reviewers here received a bent one. However we were lucky, it does sit level on both the carpet and our tiled floor in the kitchen. It is a bit fiddly getting used to where the child locking mechanism is situated, but once you have used it a few times, it becomes easier to get your hand to it and the legs drop down with ease to your required height level. The iron stand is a great feature and means you do not have to lie it flat at rest. The cover fits very well and is kept taught in place with elastic. It is padded with foam to provide a firm but cushioned surface on which to iron and the colour is restful to the eye. I highly recommend this item and would have awarded it five stars, had it arrived with a little more packaging to protect my investment.

Muy funcional y buena mesa.

Tavola da stiro ampia e molto pratica soprattutto per stirare le lenzuola. Stirando per lungo tempo, di solito, dopo un pochino il vapore si condensa e gocciola per terra. Ecco, con questa tavola ciò non accade. Unica accortezza, quando viene chiusa, bisogna posizionare uno staccio sotto, per raccogliere la fuoriuscita della condensa. Ma è solo un piccolo fastidio…..Inoltre ho apprezzato la sua stabilità
