hi can the probes from the test kit measure wet-bulb temperature?

The test kit probe is not designed to measure wet bulb temperature. It can be used with saturated wet muslin or paper towel to measure reasonably well the wet bulb temperature.

Does this read mfd or uf?

Yes it does. This will read capacitance. mfd or uf are short term designations for capacitance. uf is used to show microfarads when reading a wiring diagram or the part itself. 30 uf written on a capacitor indicates it is 30 microfarads.
