Old fashion, simple, and works perfect! It's extremely basic (easy to setup and no gimmicky stuff to learn how to use), the red light is plenty bright to be able to see well in the daytime but isn't a hindrance to sleep at night, it's loud -- you are not going to sleep through this thing! Plugs right into the wall and also has a battery back up!

This basic, no frills digital alarm clock replaced a similar 30-year-old clock. It's easy to set, easy to use, easy to read. At first, the numbers seemed way too bright, but my husband found a setting to dim it just enough for the bedroom. It was inexpensive and familiar, so works just great for us.

Clock is fairly small & I bought a different 1 previously. Lighted numbers were so bright that across a room at night the numbers were just a red glare. This 1 has 3 brightness settings, lowest is plenty bright enough, easily readable w/no glare. Buttons on front make it very easy to set. Back up battery that saves the time when power goes out.

It isn't extremely loud but loud enough to wake me in the morning. Easy to setup.

Arrived quickly packaged well. This is the easiest clock to set up. It’s a perfect bedside alarm clock. I’d buy this again! Easy to read numbers and buttons on the front. It came w directions but didn’t need them. A simple to use alarm clock. Battery backup worked when our power blooped. Love it! Ten stars!

The smaller size is nice because it doesn't take up a lot of space on my nightstand, and the digital face that shows the numbers is big enough. The steps for setting the time and alarm and shutting it off are simple and easy. The alarm is very loud, which I like. However, the reason I am giving this 3 stars is because the buttons for setting the time/alarm (minutes especially) are very sensitive and it is hard to get it to stop on the exact minute I need. It will oftentimes (not always) go past that time by several minutes. This happens when I am manually tapping the button for each and every minute and also if I am holding the button down for an extended period of time so that the minutes go up automatically until I let go. Another frustrating aspect, although not as frustrating as the minutes not stopping when I need them to, is that when you hold the button down for an extended period of time to move minutes without tapping the button, the minutes don't move up as fast as some other alarm clocks I have had move. So, if you are on 12:01, for example, but want 12:45 it will take a longer time to get to 12:45 when compared to some other alarm clocks. Also, one last thing to note is that I bought this alarm clock about 7 months ago. The sensitive buttons issue with the minutes not stopping when I want them to did not start happening until about 5 months in, and seems to be getting worse (happening more often and going further past the minute I want. If you don't have the change your alarm on a regular basis, this may not be an issue for because the alarm time won't change if you don't change. It stores that time and you just switch it to on/off.

No more fumbling around with tiny, confusing buttons in the dark. The display is bright and very easy to read. The battery back-up provides great peace of mind, knowing I won't oversleep if the power goes out. If you want a straightforward, reliable alarm clock that gets the job done without a complicated setup, this is definitely the one to get. Highly recommend for ease of use.

Had to return it as it came with US fittings but the clock itself looked quality.

Deceptive advert by Amazon. Sharp such an established brand with a legacy not to be blamed. Size is not as shown too small....... most importantly defective piece supplied not working since delivered. Amazon spoiling it's reputation. Spent more than 2.5k for a defective and deceptive digital watch.

I wanted an electric alarm clock, just that, an electric alarm clock. I didn't want all the added stuff. Finally found this one and really like it. I've had it for 2 months and have had no problems with it. The alarm is loud enough, the numbers have 3 levels of brightness, it is easy to set. Just a simple, electric alarm clock which is difficult to find these days.

It was malfunctioning when we use batteries and the electrical wire was not compatible with UAE specifications.
