I am so pleased with this little kettle that I decided to share my thoughts. We recently moved to a retirement village. This has meant many adjustments. It was a big downsize for us. One thing that I have always had is a hot water dispenser at the kitchen sink. I was not able to have one in my new apartment and I knew I needed an alternative that would meet my needs. I began scrolling through the list of kettles and my eye was caught by the design of this kettle. I liked the size and the fact that I would be able to keep it on my counter without it being so huge that it took up more space than needed. The size is perfect. I love that it is glass and I can see when bubbles begin to form when it is turned on. I drink hot tea every night as I watch TV. This little kettle does the trick. I only have water in the kettle. I have the tea bag in my cup. It brings water to a boil extremely fast and automatically shuts off. I really love that feature. There is no obnoxious noise to deal with. My mother had a whistling tea kettle when I grew up and I hated that noise. Amazon is such a trusted brand and the price is right! You can’t go wrong with this kettle. I have been using it every day for 7 months and there are no signs of it slowing down. I give this a big thumbs up! 👍🏻🥰

Our apartment complex recently demolished our kitchen countertops, dropped them, and installed fake granite . We lost quite a lot of space and functionality. As I'm the only one who drinks hot tea and french press coffee I decided to look for a smaller electric kettle to fit into a tight space. I landed on this one from Amazon basics.I love it. The water heats up fast and one kettle can fill a standard french press or small tea pot. I love the color, looking sharp and clean. The auto shut off let's you know the water is ready, and you can simply wait a few minutes for the water temp to be "off boil" for coffee.Sometimes simple works best and for the price point it's exceptional. I've knocked it into the faux countertop a few times and it's so durable nothing cracked or chipped.So if you make small quantities of hot water a day, this is definitely the kettle for you.

So far I really like this stainless electric kettle. It looks nice and works just as it should. Its very much like the last one I had that lasted for yrs. Couldn't find that brand so I bought this one.. Hoping it will prove to be a good buy in the long run. I 've only had it a few weeks, so if it breaks or there are problems with it I will update.

Just a few small usability quirks keep it from being a perfect one!

I really like this little electric kettle. So much better than I thought. I boiled 0.8l in less than a minute! That was just a test.. and I'm so glad I bought the smaller one after reading a lot of reviews. It's perfect and I highly recommend it. My old kettle for the stove top will go to some organization that helps people to get back on their feet. Thank you for a perfect and very timely delivery!

Family member had a pricey one of these so i research on Amazon and this was the best one for the right price i think its better then higher priced ones has the blue light and a filtered spout and u cant beat that price i love this thing had it over a year nothing wrong heats up fast taste is filtered

I am very happy with this kettle. Most important, it does what it's supposed to do - heat water. But what I really like about it is its low profile, so I don't have to torque my shoulder when I pour. Second, but no less important, it doesn't make a beeping sound when it's done...just a muffled click, so it doesn't wake up the whole house like previous other brands I've used. It's sleek and unobtrusive, and gets the job done.
