I Would Leave Me If I Could

I read this the moment it arrived, and I still find myself re-reading a few of these poems every now and then. Strictly sticking to the content of the book, one can find some of their song lyrics in some of these poems in one way or the other, and thats what Ive always loved about Halsey, the way they can capture every single moment we think of, but can barely pen down on paper. Also love the cover art, gives me major Basquiat vibes, wherein one can visualise the anguish.Coming to the product itself, the print is good, and it came in perfect condition.

And Halsey has once again succeeded to blow my mind!! Got the book in perfect condition!! As a huge Halsey fan since 2016, it surprises me how she manages to impress me every year and she has done it with I Would Leave Me If I Could. She is one of the best songwriters out there and I already predicted this book was gonna be great but she exceeded my predictions haha. I am only 20 poems in but can't wait to read the rest of the book. A must buy, it's so worth it!!

Halsey is a beautiful singer and writer. This work of hers is the same. The hardcover is pretty as well.

This was very unexpectedly good. Im not a Halsey fan, I dont listen to her music but this book was si well written. I loved it. It was more "casually" written, I mean not a lot of big literature words, so it was easy to understand and I could relate to it. I loved it. Worth every penny

You can literally feel the emotions.....she really put lot of efforts in this book and it shows. Glad I bought it

The book is beautiful and profound. It is pretty and heart-wrenching and heart-warming. There are parts of it that could potentially feel repetitive- not just thematically but also diction-vice (the poems 'summer fruit' and 'watermelon' essentially feel like the same poem). And even so, there wasn't a moment where I was bored. Halsey keeps you engaged with her emotions and immersed in their story. You hurt for them and you hurt with them and it is sad and raw and angry and lovesick and enamoured all at the same time. It comes with it's flaws but it is a worthwhile and memorable read.

I love halsey and her music, but I feel like this could have been way better beacuse some of the poems are really long and they kind of lose they're point towards the end and some of the shorter are really good so I feel like I would recommend this only to fans of Halsey and not poetry lovers.

I don’t know how I feel about this. Poetry is so deeply personal. This books seems to bleed the feelings of the author or be written in her blood. It took time to read.

Me gusto mucho la creatividad que tiene la autora, tanto en la portada del poemario como el plantear sus sentimientos y situaciones de su vida diaria, por lo que pude sentirlos también ante la linda manera que lo describe…la admiro mucho🤍Y decidí adquirir este producto ya que me gusta mucho leer la poesía, es la manera más linda de transmitir mensaje y sentimientos🌟

Halseys poetry is so good, i read the book in just a few days. I could relate to what they said and i am glad i got it. Even if you don’t like Halseys music, you can probably still relate to what she says in her poetry.
