LogicMark Guardian Alert 911

Q: Can you program a number other than 911? My mother lives is a supportive living center. I would like the unit to dial the front desk.

This product cannot be programmed with alternate numbers. It's preset to call and communicate with 911. I looked on Amazon for a product similar to this one that can be programmed and found the "Freedom Alert 911 Newest DECT Model Emergency Alert System" (copy, paste and search on Amazon, you'll find it), although it's at a considerably higher price.

Q: can the battery be replaced when this battery dies??

These are inexpensive, easy to find batteries. Amazon, and almost everyone sells them, usually in quantities of 2 or 4. The phone only needs one battery. The battery should last years.

Q: What are the dimensions of the pendant?

I cannot answer that one, but let me tell you this. I bought this product because my girlfriend bought this for her mother on Amazon. Her mother wore it for about five years before her passing at age 89. My own mother has been wearing it for over five years. I cannot get the dimensions for you because she does not live near me. But she is 87 and it is really a life saver. So many of these pendants you have to pay a monthly fee. This hooks right up in the phone jack.

Q: How far away from the home can this be used?

They claim 600 feet line of site. There are a lot of variables (where base unit is, etc) but we tested my mothers up to 300 feet. Hers is in the Kitchen and the 300 feet passed through a second home on "line of site" to her location. Worked perfectly. Great system for a "no monthly fee" product.
