Was exactly what I was looking for! Lightweight yet sturdy, qaulity is good and fully functional. Took hubby about 2 hours to put together since it is basically a puzzle but worth the price! Solid panels, drawers are on the smaller side but that's not a problem. Also love the fact my vacuum can fit underneath without having to pull it out.

There were no reviews for the black version of this cabinet when I bought, but reading the reviews of the rustic wood version, I knew the major issue would be assembly. It is time consuming! All parts were labeled except three, and they were easy to identify from the diagrams for parts in the instructions. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver as well as the included Allen wrench. The 18 pages of instructions are all diagrams, mostly easy to follow. One thing I would suggest-they leave putting the magnet plates on the doors til last, but I think it would be much easier to do before installing the doors. Early on, it will seem wobbly and unstable but once it's all put together it seems study enough. Note that the entire cabinet is particle board, and the back and drawer bottoms are made of thin board just a step up from cardboard. The finished product looks decent and does hold a lot. The max height for the lower shelf in the cabinet is 11.5", leaving an upper shelf of 6". It will serve my purposes, but don't know that I'd go for it again.

This cabinet is very, very poorly made. The front doors are misaligned and can’t be closed, the shelf for inside the cabinet doesn’t fit, and the “pull out” drawers are held in by a dowel rod and almost flop out every time you try and use it. I wish I could get my money back, jr it’s not worth my time to take this thing apart and try to ship it back…

This is about my 10th furniture purchase from Amazon so I have experience in assembling these types of things. This is the first one I about packaged up and returned. Half of the labels were not on the hardware pieces. Which is fine it is pretty easy to figure out what is what. Second some steps were missing from the instructions. Some diagrams were not super clear. The order in which it has you assemble certain parts made it difficult at times. Usually I can assemble something this size in one evening. I spread this out over a few days due to the frustration. As other reviews have stated DO NOT over tighten anything. Or even tighten for that matter. Sometimes the screws were not even in all the way and the board was starting to crumble. I have never experienced that with other products of this type I have purchased from Amazon. That leads me to believe the quality is just not there for this one. We will see how long it lasts. But the hassle of it and lack of quality it just isn’t worth the price. I was so frustrated you can see from my pic I wasn’t even finished assembling it when I wrote this review. That’s how fed up I was. But the design was exactly what I was looking for to suit my needs. So for now I will finish assembling it, cursing all the way and see how long it lasts. But think twice and look for other options before making this item your final purchase.

Looks fine once assembled, but not worth the time and frustration it took to assemble. You’d have to force pieces together. 100% wish I would’ve bought a different cabinet.
