Works great, easy to clean
Can’t imagine a pricey one working much better. It makes cube of dirt and hasn’t rusted.

Mini 4 Hand-held Soil Blocker
Works just like the big boys, stainless steel is legit, easy assembly, cost/performance can't be beat. Easy clean up under running water. Comes with a variety of 3 different adapters for the type of divot you prefer. Would highly recommend.

Sharp Edges
Works well but edges can be quite sharp. Husband sanded it down to help.

Cheap and somewhat sturdy. We’ll see how long it lasts.
The media could not be loaded. It is metal and pretty well made except for the threads on the handle. I can twist mine to where the threads no longer engage. The handle will shift and no longer be lined up. Also the blocks are very hard to get into the slots it might get easier but you gotta work to get them in without bending it or breaking the tabs on the block.

Very helpful
This soil blocker is a must for serious gardeners. I should have had this a long time ago. It is easy to use and clean and has greatly reduced transplant shock. Just make sure the planting medium is moist but not wet and that it is new (peat or coconut coir is best). Happy planting!

Exactly as I expected.
Had mine for a little while now, and it works exactly as I expected. Hasn't jammed, hasn't rusted, and it is reasonably comfortable to use.

not great
Came with zero assembly instructions which is fine unless you have no idea how its supposed to go together. The hole the handle screws into is off center so the whole thing is cockeyed so when you press the handle down there is a God awful metal on metal sound. I can probably make it work but I would not recommend.
